    $ 115.95 (includes shipping)

    • Thanks, I will update title.

  • Will get something like this for my Squeezebox Touch car install.

Would be a deal if they could match HN including shipping.

Agreed, I would have a philosophical objection to paying 15% more at COTD than HN 2 months later! ;)

That said, I have this drive ($99 from HN) and it's not bad; however, at this point in time & price unless you're getting a super deal somewhere, I'd be future-proofing myself somewhat & holding out for a USB3.0 drive. Just my two cents worth, others may disagree! :)

Didn't MLN have this drive for $99 during Xmas-NY? C'mon MLN, it's been almost 2 months, drives must have been discounted since - match with postage?

    • MLN is at $112 at the moment. So cheaper if you live near a store.

They also have Iomega 1TB at 109

    • Ooops, meant ".. MLN had this drive .."

Shoppingsquare has them for $99.95 + $14.95 shipping. Thats a total saving of $1.05 compared to COTD. :)

  • USB 2 or 3?

    • i would say 2
      because of price

  • USB 2.0. Nice drive though. Got one from HN.

  • got one of those end of last year boxing day sale…was working fine till yesterday…was not detecting in 3 seperate computers as well as PS3…so took it back and got store credit at HN

  • I wonder, why dont they have warranty stated in the details. Normally it is 3 years, I suppose.
and COTD does not miss such things. It looks they are giving standard 1 year COTD warranty. I would avoid purchasing this online then.

Yep, it's 3yrs manuf wty on mine, was stated on the packaging when I got it! ;)

COTD are pretty slick, they're generously offering 1yr of their own wty…of course, underwritten by Samsung's own 3yrs! :p

    this deal is OK.

yes I bought this from HN 2 months ago for $99 (during their boxing day sale)
it's a little thicker than other drives but not a big deal.

I couldn't get one in red color so I spray painted mine red…..LOL.
