Samsung Galaxy S8+ G955FD 64GB $638.10 | Samsung Galaxy Note 8 N950F/DS 64GB $719.10 Shipped @ Quality Deals eBay (Grey Import)

LOVEIT

Decent price for these two phones if you're targeted for the sitewide discount. Haven't seen the S8+ any cheaper yet, previous best appears to be $668 from Amaysim with the cashback offer. The Note 8 has been around this price during sales for a couple of times, however it hasn't been any cheaper yet.

Previously there was an additional 10% GST added during the checkout for all items sold by QD, however this is no longer the case so the prices mentioned in the title is the final price you will pay. There are a few other sellers on eBay who are selling it for a slightly lower price, however they don't appear to be as reputable or they incur an additional 10% GST during the checkout.

How do you tell if you are going to be charged GST by Ebay or not?

  • Hows the warranty with QD? Good or non existent?

    • They're ok. Honored my g4 when it looped couple years back. Took long but I think it was the to the demand (thousands of dead g4). I highly recommend them.

I concur with this. They sent out a (new? Maybe) g4 (using it now) and a spare battery and battery charger thrown in. Was as good as you could ask for considering the circumstances.

    • Bought a LG G6 that was reportedly brand new, but the box was open. Phone itself is flawless but I contacted them, they apologised and refunded $30. Will definitely buy from them again if I am after a grey import.

  • the code dosenot work for me ? any way can do to buy this phone with discount ? please

    • Code maybe targeted to selected individuals excluding you and I.

    • I get a different offer which does not save as much

  • Is this is refurbished or standby mobiles?

    This will help everyone.

The warranty also says that:- Local store which means you won't get warranty from Samsung….

12 months local store warranty in Australia (for "Brand New" items)*

    • G955FD has two sim card slots. Samsung AU doesn't support dual-sim phones nor it provides local warranty. If you need a dual-sim phone grey import is the only option.

However, some imported phones can be flashed with local firmware (Telstra) which enables extra features like VoLTE.

Note9 from Samsung Australia is Dual SIM

        • Can't see 9-series in this post. 8 or 7 were not supported officially.

        • +1

Only the model you buy outright. If you signed up contract with Optus or Telstra, Vodafone, it only come with single SIM supported Note 9.

        • @vdshih: are you 100% on that? I can confirm Optus is the archaic single SIM; was hoping one of the other 2 majors hopefully won't be so scammy this year, since Samsung Aus is throwing us a bone this year.

        • @Charity:

Outright holder of note 9 from Samsung. It dual sim. 512GB model only. Optus VoLTE without flashing with another firmware.

Op's post is exactly my experience with DWI lol. I guess it's common practice for grey importers to claim abuse damage to get out of warranty claims.

This is now not targeted. Can use "PHENOM" to get 10% off for anyone. Not sure if this qualifies as a seperate deal.

    • Yes you can use PHENOM for 10% discount

  • PHENOM works fine. Just add a case and glass screen to celebrate
    I bought.

PLENTY10 make this deal valid for the S8+ again. Note 8 has been jacked up but 809 is okay'ish price. Not very hot as $719.10 as it once was.
