Usually free if ordered online, but Telstra Pre-paid SIM Starter Kits are on clearance for 80c at Woolies Chadstone Shopping Centre VIC.

For the 80c premium, you could easily pick out a phone number you like from the pile.

For 80c, we can choose an easily remembered number. Similar to registering a domain name.

I've seen Telstra and Vodaphone packs free in the tourist info rack at SeaWorld zresort. Likely available at other resorts.
