    Save 2$$$$$$

    • Even the $12 price mark is quite low - an extra $2 off is icing on the cake. Try Coles and Woolies - they sell this for $27-$34!!

i bought a non-sonic vitality when it was on 1/2 special for $19 at coles a couple of months back. i think it came with two replacement brushes. the reject shop one might not come with any (hard to tell from picture).

i don't like the big head shown in the picture. you can't poke it as far down the back of your mouth as you can with their smaller heads.

i think getting any electric toothbrush is a big step up from a manual toothbrush, but benefits thereafter for the more expensive models are unclear to me.

      • More expensive ones just give better cleaning, such as higher pulsation counts & oscillations. I don't think any of the lower range ones have pulsation.

Also, the vibrating/pulsating only toothbrushes are only a small step up from manual toothbrushes. There has been many studies which say that "vibration" electric toothbrush like the sonic vitality, actually improve that much.

The ones which are actually a lot better than manual toothbrushes are the oscillating ones.

  • Anybody think of other uses for this?

Such as cleaning jewllery, car rims, dog teeth, bicycle gears n chains.

I dunno, guess i'm looking for reasons to justify how handy a $10 electric
tooth brush might be, other than cleaning your teeth of course.

    • Slip a raincoat on it ……

I presume by raincoat you mean something a bit more prophylactic?
I think there are probably too many sharp edges for that!

  • I bought one last time they had them advertised. They don't give you any spare brushes in the pack. I bought some on ebay from Germany (had to use google translate to read the listing!!) and got a good price. Quite happy with both these purchases.

  • I got the OralB Pro White model for $28 on special at Safeway, it came with 1 spare head(heads are $25 for 2). These heads are a lot better than the one included with this model. If you have any wisdom teeth left, the small heads are a dream.
