LG CordZero A9 Master 2X Handstick Vacuum - $695 Delivered @ Appliances Online

70
20SPRING18

CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK AND ON BACK ORDER
I got an email saying they won't have stock till November 1st, so I promptly cancelled my order (which I placed before posting this deal). Appliances Online has shocking indicators for their stock levels, as a lot of ProductReview reviewers point out, you only really know after you pay in full. Poor form.

Don't forget 1.4% cashback from Appliances Online via Cashrewards.

Oddly the Master is priced lowered than lesser models such as the A9MULTI2X. Price mixup perhaps?

From reviews, this looks to sit somewhere between a Dyson v8 and v10 (perhaps why LG went with a 9?) in sucking power. The 2x swappable batteries and free-standing charge base however give it an advantage for my needs.

Also don't forget to claim your Total Care Kit via redemption from LG.

Don't think you can price match deals with coupon code.

    • The coupon is just for $20 off. JB has it for $849 so it's still a considerable discount if you're adamant you want to buy it in person.

  • In sucking level

    Lol

  • sucking power

Does this have a turbo suck button like the Dyson?

    • It has 3 levels of sucking: Normal, Power, Turbo.

Normal without Power Drive Nozzle: Up to 40 minutes per battery
Normal with Power Drive Nozzle: Up to 30 minutes per battery
Power Mode: Up to 9 minutes per battery
Turbo Mode: Up to 6 minutes per battery

      • It has 3 levels of sucking

Sold, how much extra for extended warranty?

        • Don’t buy extended warranty. It’s useless

  • -The LG A9 comes with a dual power pack – two lithium ion batteries
-up to 40 minutes per battery without power drive nozzle.
-With the power drive nozzle, it should provide up to 30 minutes of suction
-on power mode, it will only last you up to 9 minutes per battery and up to 6 minutes on turbo mode
-charging time required for each battery is 3.5 hours. In terms of switching batteries, it boasts a quick and easy process where you push buttons on both sides to slip the battery in or out.

    • five step filtration system

Almost like a V8 but you can swap battery. Abit pricey, could go with the Roidmi F8 or Dyson V8 when on sales.

this is a great vacumm. had miele c3 and dyson v6.
was going to go for v10 but tried at jb hifh for v10, saumsung one and this lg a9 2x master!!
this is the top dog! love its small motor head as well.

    good find!

      This guy sucks.

    • Does hair gets tangled in its rotary brush? is it easy to clean?

      • +2

been using for 2 mths now.

it's great vacumm for cordless but not as good as miele for power. has pros and cons..

hairs don't get tangle easily but some long hairs or big dusts stay on timber floor and have to go over few times.

and it's good to clean filter and motor head which are completly detachable.

        what i really like are
        - free standing stand.
        - adjustable stick length
        - detachable fliter, motor head to be cleaned
        - vibrating motor head for mattress ( so much dusts!!! shocking)
        - two detachable batteries. very handy compared to dyson
        - power button. (no trigger button is good!!! dyson was tiring…)

        cons are
        - not picking up some big chucks. have to go over few times
        - turbo mode drains battery quite fast.
        - lack of accessories but now they are giving out extra cleaning heads for free. good value.

    • I was tossing up between the two!
I suppose what sold me on the LG was the docking stand, 2x battery, redemption bundle of attachments and the fact that if there's issues it's a lot easier to get an LG serviced here in Australia vs Xaiomi. Also the Roidmi looks way too long to be useful in tight spaces like cars etc. Who knows if this was the right decision though!

  • +1

I have heard glowing reports of the all new Samsung version

    • Is that the one that caught fire?

  • +2

tempted…alteady have two v6, that already made a v12…still want this bad boy..oh man..

  • How does the charging work? Can the batteries be charged at the same time? Does the battery need to be in the unit to be charged?

    • +2

I have this unit. Both batteries are charged at the same time. There's a spot in the charging stand for the 2nd battery so of the first battery goes flat you can swap it out for a fully charged one.

      • Thanks

      • What? Where? I never noticed that on mine!

        Edit

Ok I feel dumb. I didn't know it had a spot for charging a second battery! Found it now!
