Not sure this is any one else facing issue what am that when am applying coupon code on any order getting message "We ran into a problem. Please try again later."
tried almost 10-12 since from morning but not getting through.

    • Try ebay support? No issues here.

    • Same here. Also running into this same issue if I try to purchase the 10% off $100 eBay Digital Gift Cards using PGIFT10. Seems to be something specific to these vouchers as I can apply the PENNY5 vouchers on certain items. Strange and frustrating.

    • Look in your cart, are there any items not in AUD?

      • Happens even if the only thing in my cart is the AUD$100 eBay Digital Gift Card and I try to use the PGIFT10 voucher

  • Thanks - So can you buy a $500 eBay gift card for $450 and then use that?

    • yes

      • Thanks, can you purchase and use the gift cards as a guest? Thanks for all the help

        • dont think so

  • Yay I've been waiting for something better than 5% for an item I want that costs $120! I am happy because with the 10% plus the $100 gift card I bought yesterday for $90 and triple flybuys points, I feel like this was a great time for me to finally buy it. It is a Christmas gift for my Dad, I can't wait to give it to him! :D Especially given it is in another country and won't get here until end of November, so I doubt I'll get a better deal than this in the time-frame needed. I'm happy!

    Another useless incentive by ebay!

I can get 6 items into my cart before their GST system breaks it. Pity they are all $10 items because I can't get to their $75 threshold. Another 45 minutes out of my life with customer service, and no solution, they won't issue a discount voucher for compensation for the discount I can't apply. This has happened to me at least a dozen times now. Screw you ebay, stop wasting my time!

  • Happy & thanks!

  • when does this end

  • I am not able to buy eBay gift cards with code, can someone please share link? I want to buy 5 gift cards. Thanks.

    • +1

To get discounted eBay gift cards use the code "PGIFT10", not this one.

      • Oh yes. Thank you.

  • Hey TA when does this end? Hoping for a gopro 7 black deal :)

        • +1

Might be a stupid question but why would ebay category matter? Ive emailed shop to see if it comes with Australian tax invoice

        • I can't see how the category it's under would matter? It's probably just an error or a way to be able to list pre-orders, OnSport are reputable, warranty will come with it.

        • @doweyy:

          OnSport are reputable

Should be good then. If it is in the wrong category they could send you a gopro tshirt

But if you know the seller all good

        • @snvl:

Completely understandable, and worth enquiring first as to why it's listed under clothing :)

But yeah, OnSport are well known and reputable, and there's always eBay protection too, so should be all good :)

        • @doweyy:

sold two and then they ended the item

      • You legend!

      • Oh no haha Was waiting for coupons to come through

  • Thanks TA!

Stacked with the 10% gift cards and to get a new computer upgrade :)

  • Why aren't perfumes cheap on eBay ever? Is Chemist Warehouse the only go?

  • Every time I try to checkout anything the coupon box is greyed out with "Discount/Redemption codes can't be used with the payment option you selected." paypal or credit card. What am I missing?

    • I had a similar issue. I'm assuming you're trying to purchase items from overseas?

If so, GST has to be paid in full by your PayPal/Credit Card.

      • nah i just completed overseas purchase, a phone from china/hk
all good 4 gcards plus disc code

        • Interesting, I wasn't able to complete my purchase with 3 Gift Cards so had to do 2 GC + pay remaining balance with PayPal.

Checked my bank statement and it appears that GST was charged the full amount.

      • I was trying to buy refurbished computers from different Australian sellers.

  • I'm an idiot! I was having error codes trying to get to the checkout, finally worked out it was because I had too many items in my cart, then went and paid it on the 28 degrees card instead of using the ebay voucher I bought earlier for this purpose! Argh!

    • same here, for some reason I agreed to stay logged in with Paypal.
Never got the chance to use the gift cards. I have requested the seller cancel the transaction

  • Can ‘paygrade’ Be used on non store sellers? Like private listings with either buy it now or auction or is it reserved for stores only.?

  • Hi guys, could you please reply if I can purchase something from US and deliver to a US address using this discount code and use the ebay gift voucher I bought on discount? and if I use the voucher, do I have to use up the voucher or can iI use the remaining credit next time?
    Thank You in advance.
Edit - 1 more question, If i deliver it to US address, I don't need to pay GST right?

  • tried buying the Myers Mixer and a freezer from appliances online, paygrade doesnt work.

  • How long do these usually run for? 24-48hrs?

    • They usually stop right after you buy the vouchers but before you apply the 10% off code and spend the vouchers.

  • So do ozbargainers think 10% is as good a discount as we're going to get? Jump on this or wait for a 15%?

    • I'D wait for a 20% from Ebay USA or somewhere else. :D but have some whitegoods i would buy if they did a 15%

  • Does this end tonight midnight?

  • Thanks TA, I've been waiting for this.

Not sure if it’s the best bargain but definitely the cheapest one I could find that comes with a tax invoice.

  • Ah damn it I didn't notice you could only use it twice.

Damn you separate checkout for each currency!!!

  • so ends at any time, eh? tricky

  • Do you know when is the ending date?

  • +3

Expired. Just when I hit BIN on something

    • haha, just saw it too as I was checking out. sigh.

    • Same here, was just pressing the "buy it now" button

  • That wass short. Althuough there will be another in a week.

Already spent a couple of thousand on ebay in the past fortnight.

  • +1

Darn it, was just hitting checkout when it expired.

    • at least you know you are good in timing stuffs :D

  • oh nooooo expired? really?

  • +1

    Expired? not 28/9?

  • Is it expired early or is it supposed to expire at noon today? if so, why did we have a different expiry date on this page?

  • +1

LOL WTF really? was about to buy some thing too

  • +2

That's annoying as last night I checked the term and condition, it states expire date is 28/9~ I am just about to buy something and found out it's expired.

    • on my ebay summary page i see this now:

10% off your purchase of AU $75.00 or more, up to AU $300.00 off.
      Redemption code: PAYGRADE Expired 26/09/18

      and

5% off your purchase of AU $30.00 or more, up to AU $300.00 off. See conditions
      Redemption code: PENNY5 Expires 30/09/18

      • +1

Offer Period. This offer is available >for a limited time only, for as long as >it is advertised by eBay on >www.ebay.com.au (“Offer Period”). eBay >reserves the right to cancel the offer >at any time.

All well they can cancel it anytime. I just bought the item with penny5 as there are only two left. There goes my $31.

    • Yeah I missed out too; the terms page showed the expiry date as the 29th for me so I just thought I had more time.

Oh well, next time I suppose :/

  • Ebay said code expired after I tried a min ago

    • Same here its expired. Ebay just pull out the deal…

      • damn….. wonder if it will be replaced by anything. The last 10% off sale went for almost a week.

        • +2

It should expire on 28/9 as mentioned above.

          • @bibimbap: Yup. but expired. Sadly.
TA should see if he could negotiate one!

  • +1

Starting to get really p*ss3d with these eBay deals… Coupon fiasco yesterday, now I come to buy my laptop and hey presto we've taken your discount away in under 24hrs!

    • +2

I think they are trying to scare people into making impulse purchases within hours (rather than days) of a code bring released, as you never know when it will expire.

I missed out on both the discounted gift cards (went to buy 2 hours after expiry last night) and the 10% code (went to buy a $700 item 1 hour after expiry today)

      • Interesting theory… So, to take the 5 whilst it's still something, or await another 10 or better within 24hrs… I was looking forward to having my laptop tomorrow

        • Now you could use the US 15% off promo

But yeah after this last one finished early, how many people are going to pull the trigger on a purchase as soon as the next code come out ?

      • +1

Maybe it's just a budget thing. One the code reaches a certain dollar amount, they pull the code. I was expecting it to last 2-3 days and was adding things to my cart. Guess it'll have to wait until next time. They did the same with the PLUSIT15 Which ended a day early.

  • +2

That was pretty short lived… I was about to buy something but got delayed trying to get flybuys details for double points!

    • it actually runs 30 hours, longer than the previous 10% off

  • -3

Bugger, code ended before it even started.

  • +1

    …for real????

  • +1

Suppose all you can do at times like this is laugh.

  • +3

What a short promo. Had to request a custom price from seller and once done, code gone…

  • Does anyone else have the problem when you hit "Go to checkout", I get Something went wrong. Please try to check out again. Error codes: 70245 70438"

Happens on a PC, notebook, ipad and phone, so maybe it's specific to my account?

Anyway doesn't matter as code expired :(

  • Usually Ebay stick to there end dates for these sorts of site wides… Kinda annoying as I was planning on a big purchase tonight

  • I put an offer on an item and the seller accepted after the bloody code expired. Was hoping to use it and the gift cards.

  • Haha. As soon as this ended, Computer Alliance dropped $250 off LG 38UC99.

    Coincidence? I think not.
