Getting The Most out of My Home Hi-Fi

Hey everyone. I'm after some audiophiles opinions. I've had my current setup for a while but I've heard that adding a power amp or pre amp will improve my setup. I really have no idea when it comes to these things and was wondering if there's some knowledgeable ozbargainers out there.

Here's my current setup:

    Try the forums at stereo.net.au

Your speakers are not high impedence and your integrated amp is actually producing sufficient power to drive your speakers. Ie. Your output from amp and your input impedence on speaker is suitable, so is the wattage.

You will not see much difference by upgrading either components in isolation or adding to the setup above.

    • Thanks for hat I’ll give it a go

Hi If you listen to alot of two channel music it may be worth investing in a pre/power combination or an intergrated amp with a home threatre bypass for watching movies sounds like the system you have is good enough!!
The jamo speakers are not hard to drive unless you are listening to concert levels loudness.
