    Good find OP.

  • its not a 4k cable from memory.

    • What's a4k cable

    • Correct. Finding the right HDMI cable.

These are listed high speed 10.2Gbps HDMI and will only support up to 4K content @ 30Hz.
A Premium HDMI spec cable will be needed for full 4K content @ 60Hz 18Gbps.

    • Yeah only does 1080.

Good to see some ozbargainers down in the Illawarra!

Cable is no good. Will cause CRC errors and therefore artifacts in video. Possibly will cause audio to stutter, due to the use thin wires that terminate to a nickel plated connector.

Better to buy this cable if you want the best digital signal - https://www.harveynorman.com.au/monster-ultrahd-gold-35ft-hd…

    • Yeah, that one gives a better picture.

      And more FPS.

    • It's also 35ft long (~10m).

      • Selby have some too

        This one says 4k x 2k? I'm using a 7M Ugly Premium cable from them for 4K but I notice the 10M version only says 1080P. $119

        • Over 5m for high speed 4k it has to be like Ruipro HDMI Fibre cable to carry all that data, not cheap tho.

      • Good to hang yourself with it afterwards when you realised you paid $200 for a hdmi cable lol

Thanks, a sales rep has got to eat after all ;)

  • just a plus 1 for being near the greatest pub in the entire country.

    • Really? I lived just up the road for years and never set foot in there, apart from the bottle-o a few times. Went past not so long ago and it looks less dingy than before.

naa it's still dingy. That's why I like it. One of the few "pubs" left.
