Unbelievable (potential) pricing error from camerahouse for all my fellow Fuji shooters out there. This lens comes in two versions: standard and APD. The APD is a lens coating for improved bokeh and usually retails for approximately $500 more. For most enthusiasts the difference is negligible, but somehow Camerahouse has accidentaly priced them both at the cheaper price!

The liklyhood of this being a pricing error is further increased as the cashback information of $150 on the website is incorrect as well.

Love this lens (I have the one that's not APD). Just wished I had a knew more people to use it on. :D

I wonder if it's a pricing error or if they simply have stock to move, though it is curious they've got the cash-back figure wrong.

    • Deal corrected, there's the error confirmed

BOOM…you got a bargain - well done! Nearly bought one too and I don't even shoot Fuji!

I think it's already fixed. Coupon doesn't work no more.

      37 Minutes. They moved quick.

  • A lens costs over $1100 to be a bargain! These Fuji lenses just cost too much to a poor me. My XT2 cries every time seeing those expensive bargains…:)

    • The APD version is pretty widely known for being overpriced. You can still claim the cashback and cashrewards and get the non-APD one anyway, let's be honest, 99% of people wouldn't really notice the difference anyway!

      • And if you really want the APD effect, just buy the regular one and then use a permanent marker to colour in a ring towards the edge of the rear element.
