$1 Coffee Machine with Nespresso 12 Month Subscription ($40/ $50/ $65pm)

160

Choice of 3 different machines for $1 per machine and then 12 month subscription which is converted into Nespresso credit.

  • Essenza Mini (RRP $129) @ $40 per month (converted into $40 Nespresso Credit) $480 min spend over 12 months
  • Vertuo Plus (RRP $299) @ $50 per month (converted into $50 Nespresso Credit) $600 min spend over 12 months
  • Lattissima One (RRP $399) @ $65 per month converted into $50 Nespresso Credit) $780 min spend over 12 months

Seems like decent value if you already have a machine and want an update, or have been holding off waiting for a deal. Nespresso capsules are ~$0.80ea, so if your household is already drinking 3-4 Nespresso capsules a day this would cover the Lattissima Plus straight away.

Credit can be accumulated for future months use and sent on anything on Nespresso store (machines, capsules, cups, accessories etc), and are valid for 12 months and then converted to capsules/accessories etc.

seems expensive. I've had my delonghi magnifica for last 6 years and still going strong. Bought it for $200 and can use any beans i want.

    • Nespresso is about convenience; pop a pod in and press a button.

Might be interested if the Creatista machines were an option..

      No Creatista no deal.

      • Hmm could you accumulate the credits and buy a Creatista at the end…

  • Who the hell is going to go through $65 worth of pds a month. That’s 3 pods a day for 365 days.

    • My stay at home wife goes through 2-3 a day, I take 2 per day to work and use the machine there and drink a few on the weekends, plus what visitors consume.

    • We go through 3-4 a day between the 2 of us.

Was thinking something similar as we buy a range of different (cheaper) brand pods - as well as Nespresso pods, but on reflection it would be easy enough for us to share with 3 other family members who also have Nespresso machines.

The RRPs of the machines should be ignored, eg VertuoPlus can be had for ~$179 with the ebay -10% discount (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Nespresso-ENV155T-Delonghi-V…)

    • I have 4-6 a day as I have 2 shots per cup. I usually mix up Coles brand plus what ever brand is on sale.

Still seems expensive though. I bought my lattisma + for 220 delivered from amazon italy 4-5 years ago

  • Capsules are ~$0.80ea

L'Or are often on sale for ~$0.32.

Or grinders pods have been great tasting.

    • Updated post. You'd need to drink ~600 L'Or capsules to save up enough to pay for the machine though..

Yes, ultimate in convenience and we really enjoyed the many years we were a Nespresso household however we made the move to a Breville BES870 about 6 months ago and like many others we'll never look back. Ran the figures to justify the purchase and based on cost savings per shot of buying beans versus 80c pods the $570-ish machine will pay itself off in 13-14 months @ 18 shots per week… and obviously far sooner if you make more than that. There's the added big bonus of far less pod waste too!

  • I like it. Half decent coffee and when you deduct the price of the coffe machine not that expensive

  • Good value when you see the RPP of the machine, but we know that none of us will buy RPP.
If they included the Creatista it would be ok … the models they "give" are not flash

  • Great deal, I spend that on pods anyway so I am considering doing it just to have a spare machine. The only drawback is the latissima being only brown or white.

    • Agreed, I don't quite spend enough for $65 worth of pods a month. But most of my family have machines and I can share the credit with them, especially with free shipping!
