30% off a lot of shoes at asos. Might go well with the groupon asos voucher that was posted yesterday :)

I just bought a pair. Please don't buy the same one, i want to be unique ;)

i went to post this deal (i'm on their mailing list too).

however, i looked around and found some shoes even cheaper elsewhere.

i didn't bother to note which shoes.. all i'm saying is that before you purchase just have a look at the competition.

      Who are the competition?

If they are cheaper - surely by definition they must be a 'Bargain' worthy to be listed on OzB

      • I'd like to know as well. Where did you look elsewhere?

        • sorry, i don't really remember.. it was two specific types of shoe and i just put them into google… taking in postage differences.. i easily found similar prices or even cheaper prices on those two models.

aside from that, i stopped looking online because I'm really sick of buying sole-less shoes.. so much cheap crap around these days.
i bought some hiking type colorado's online recently and i can hardly walk about the city a bit, let alone mountains… just no cushyness despite fitting perfectly.

from now on i think i'll visit retail stores so i can try shoes on, then maybe source that exact shoe online.. no point having something that damages you.

(p.s I'm a pretty fit 30yoish male.. run swim and cycle a lot.. definitely the shoes and not my health that's the problem.)

        • ok.. it's possible i had a slightly different model when i googled.. giving me a false impression.. i did it very quick!

also, asos seem to be a good solid supplier so that's probably worth a few more quid.

still.. good idea to be sure and just google the shoe you are about to get.. i suppose.

  • I remember the t&c's on the Groupon specifying that it couldn't be used on sale items, though I can't be sure whether their system has that parameter built in to detect that particular situation
