    wtf???

    • +2

Sounds a bit like "Antiques made to order".

    • Gives them enough time to disappear before you go looking for them?

      • So they’ll get free money from thousands forgotten customers

  • +1

Those prices seem incredibly low, but with shipping within 1 - 3 months, probably couldn't rely on these being received for use as Christmas presents.

I note that gift wrapping is available, even on the Ty Pennington Zoe Storage Cabinet (148kg).

    • Is gift-wrapping free? Does anyone have any pictures on what the gift-wrapping ends up looking like?

  • +1

Pricing errors that won't be honoured. Some of these items retail for thousands.

    • +1

most likely, but worth a try!

    • +2

I placed an order…see if I get lucky!

    • +2

If that's the case TV cabinet ordered and hopefully a credit voucher

    • +2

ordered a few things. nothing to lose since amazon don't charge until they ship. so even if they cancel, you don't have to wait for funds to returned to you

  • I think someone put the decimal place in the wrong… well um place!

  • +2

cheers…looking forward to my clocks cancellation emails

  • Easy way to get Amazon credit vouchers.

    • +1

Just search for Howard Miller. Their stuff are usually $$$

  • +2

Sold by Amazon AU, not 3rd party, so chances of getting them is higher?

  • +5

Dunno about you guys, but I'm getting on that 78KG grandfather clock

    • +1

haha same. Imagine if they actually arrived! Wouldnt know what to do with them

      • +1

        My wife will kill me

        • +1

          My wife will kill me

With the grandfather clock? Telegraph headlines screams with "Wife CLOCKS Hubby with Grandfather Clock".

        • It was the 611-094 Lisbon. Edit: just realised there were multiple grandfather clocks in the list

        • +1

holy moly - these are some rich people accessories!

      • +5

Me too, just put the order through. I am actually already starting to think of where I would want to put it in the house. Not that I really think it will arrive, but a man can dream…

  • +2

Ordered a wall clock, thanks OP. Let's see how we go…

  • +3

        Cheaper then firewood

        • …cheaper than potting mix?

  • All over it seems

  • +1

      • -1

        Worth a try I guess

  • Unavailable so do I expect cancellation email?

  • gone grandfather clock

  • -6

    Cool.

Always wanted a grand father clock.

  • Ok that must be the most ridiculous thing I've ordered off here.

  • Thanks OP bought the 78kg clock! Now the wait begins for a cancellation email

  • I think the Howard Miller 915-010 Ty Pennington Entry Organizer is the only one still available.

  • Hahaha I bought some clocks and an entry cabinet

    I doubt they'll be delivered!

  • +1

My experiences with some overseas dodgy sellers on Amazon, they simply gave us refund.
Of course we can give negative feedback or report it to Amazon, but that’s all.

    • +4

      seller was Amazon

  • +1

    Price error?

    • for sure

  • +1

    Howard Miller Keifer Clock @$9.71

    Battery operated.
    281 grams (so it's small)

    • Pretty common corporate gift from vendors or suppliers to customers.

  • +2

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Howard-Miller-625-411-Oasis-Waterf…
    still available atm
    crossing my fingers..

    • me too

    • Yeah i ordered one of those and a grandfather clock, they seem quite nice.

      • But zero chance of actually receiving it.

        • -1

Probably better than zero. Zero is you I’m guessing since you sound bitter.

  • +2

Either sold out or they fixed the error of the grandfather clocks.
    Would have loved one.

  • :( missed out! I really needed a wall clock!!!

    • +1

this is an ugly look, dude

      • -5

Nah there's a difference between posting an advertised or otherwise clearly intentional deal and something like this which is just a pricing error.

Have you ever seen a pricing error, where it was posted and hundreds/thousands all jumped on it and tried to buy it at some stupid price work out? Because in a long time being on the internet I never have seen that work out.. But where I've found something like this, just bought it and kept my mouth shut, it's been honored or just their systems never clicked to it.

Yeah maybe comes off bitter, but I'll stand by it because I'm right.

        • +1

          Never worked out?.

          Never say never.

          • -1

@Fiximol: There cs took a dive after that. I use to ask and they would do me a good price now its just "the advertised price is our best" lost me as a customer

    • I got your point but this is Ozb :)
edit: to be honest, I was looking for a clock or amazon voucher :)

      • Amazon voucher from a third party seller?.

Isn't it you might only get one if it was being sold by Amazon itself?.

        • read above (others) comment?

        • Some of these are being sold by Amazon itself

    • @dealaroo: please hand over your ozbargainer badge while going out!

  • Free delivery isn't free if you lose money in exchange for it.

  • +2

The first clock has become the #1 Best Seller in Home Category!

    • Ha! And nobody yet reports a cancellation email!

      • Don't worry someone has started up the AWS VM's as weapons of mass cancellation

  • I’m torn between this being a price error (which I’ve never personally experienced on Amazon) or a marketing strategy ( “Amazon Aus honors $62 price for $16,000 grandfather clock” would make one heck of a headline).

    • +1

Seen lot's of price errors on Amazon

      • I meant on goods sold by Amazon directly, although perhaps others have had other experiences?

        • Yeah personally a few but some of them were errors in the name being misleading which you could recoup on the live chat

  • Anyone got cancellation emails yet??

    • +1

Nope, delivery still on track between Nov and Jan.

  • though i've always wanted a GF clock, if I get it, I have no idea what i'm going to do with it! lol

    • Isn't it too late for the grandfather clocks? They old sold out quickly. I would have gotten one for my whisky room.
