Only size 45 and 46 available

  • Any comment on Florsheim's quality?

    • These look garbage. Unless it's good year welted, I wouldn't bother with Florsheim.

Contrary to other opinions, I am quite happy with my 2 pairs which I have had for 18 months. Certainly better than Windsor Smith and cheapish leather shoes I had before.

    • Dunno, but RRP at $190 for rubber soles? I'm calling BS on that.

I had a pair over a decade ago. They were the most comfortable sheos ever and they lasted for years with daily use (at work). Last year I bought a new pair for $120. They started falling apart in 6 months and didnt even make it a year. The sole didnt wear greatly, but it did start detaching from the sheo and the leather became cracked and frayed (even though I used the special 'florsheim' branded polish which they sold me at the same time). On top of that they were never really comfortable and now I have a pinched nerve in my foot which the podiatrist says is from these sheos.

Their quality is nowhere near as good as it used to be. I would never buy another pair.

Worst brand of supposedly good shoes I have ever had

    Never again for me

  • Floor Shame is how I feel about these shoes from my experience

Interesting! I only wear florshiem! I've tried airflex, Windsor smith's, and various myer/DJ brands and all found them to be at best the same. And generally experienced very high sole wear rates (sub 12month life) and quick leather failure.

With zero TLC, other than the occasional polish/wax I get 2 full years or more of use (nearly wearing them every single day).

I do aim for their comfortech range if that matters.

    • I get a long time out of them too… By keeping them in the wardrobe because they're uncomfortable and I hate wearing them lol

  • Just purchased a pair as I've been waiting for a deal on black leather shoes to pop up. I'm hopeful about the quality, a lot of harsh reviews on here about Florsheim. Seems like they used to be a reputable brand for high quality shoes but that no longer is the case. Will post in here my thoughts when the shoes arrive.

As long as they just don't ask me what it was…

Showing your age there (and so am I).

          • @fredblogs: I don't recommend these shoes as they caused me to walk into the door again.

  • Is there an affordable (sub $100 on sale) shoe with leather soles?

    • Doubt you'll get that for sub $100, then you need to add rubber soles to prevent water damage, above $100 for sure.
      what's the point?

  • Gave it a crack - see how $55 goes!

  • Lucca, beautiful city…..

  • The Florsheim's I've had were excellent quality. And long lasting.
Cant comment on this particular model.

  • Thought I'd add my 5c… I’ve brought a number of Florsheim shoes over the year & ithey're very very hit & miss.

Ballad (Brown) – Boot style. Decent but far from great. Fairly hard leather. Look great.
Regent (Tan) – OK. Bought for office wear & definitely not up for job. Wouldn’t buy again. Only wear socially now.
Cross (Tan) – Surprisingly excellent. Incredibly comfortable, felt padded. Unsure on how this will fair in the summer. Looks great & received a few ”where did I buy them?” remarks.
Copenhagen (Brown) – Looks the part, although a tad too shiny for my liking. Nice fit. Felt quite thin material, so great for summer but probably not durability.
Louis (Tan) – Garbage. Looks dreadfully cheap. Returned.

FYI - The one pair I returned cost me $19… So I would never buy online from them again.
