    This or tronsmart? And why

    • +1

The Tronsmart, it's 54W instead of 40W and cheaper as well.

I have other Tronsmart items and they all do the job well.

    • Tronsmart doesn't come with an AU plug, but would be faster. I bought this one just to save the hassle of getting a new cable/adapter.

Random question but does anyone know if this makes any high pitched noise like a hissing or buzzing? I bought one similar to this in the past and it made a quiet (but annoying) hiss type sound when it was plugged in.

    • I have a similar model without quick charge and it’s all good except after being disconnected it goes a bit weird, almost like it takes a while for all 5 ports to start working.

    • My tronsmart is doing the same, apparently its normal "transformer hissing" from what i read. Keen to hear from others though whether it's ok?

      • I have a tronsmart and aukey but neither make any noise.

        • My Tronsmart makes a small whine on the PD version.

          • @onggie: Maybe it's only certain models or batches. I have the TS UC5PC and Aukey PA-T11

"It is also compatible with USB Type-C"

USB Type-C is just the size of the connector right? Which can support USB 2.0, 3.1 gen1 gen2, PD 2.0 3.0 etc.

Not sure what this statement means in this case.

  • can i use it as hub?

    • No

    • Yes

  • I must be missing something here but when I click through on this I can’t get the low price quoted. Help pls

    • Same here

    • Works now, at $26.48.

  • It is showing $34.35.

  • For those getting the wrong price, please select your location as Australia, and AUD. You need it to show the charger from the AU Warehouse, it is more expensive from other warehouses.
