Some like both TV's and blu-ray disc drives.

For those who prefer the straight version, it should be cheaper ($1,836) with the 20% TGG ebay code.

  • Not a bad deal considering it's JB.
Not the cheapest price on this model as it's been around 1890 previously on Ebay sales.
I bought the NU8000 and just took it back the other day as the TV was making a loud clicking noise upon booting for about 40 minutes.
Seems to be a common issue with the Nu8000 models.
I took it back for an X9000f.

    • How much better is the X9000F, is it $400-500 better?

      • +1

I havn't got the TV new TV yet.
The nu8000 was great.. I really liked the look of the TV, picture quality and interface.
The build quality isn't that great though which is what I believe my issue was attributed to.
Best bet is to check www.rtings.com and compare the two models review side by side.
You will see the X900f is overall a better TV however the nu8000 might have a slight edge for gaming.

        • Cheers.

Yeah I keeping going back to rtings but can't pick a TV. Would love a C8 but can't justify the price atm.

Liking the prices of the NU8000 / 8500 and the Sony X90F.

@Burnz316: I always wanted to get the X9000F but couldn't wait for a good price so pulled the trigger on the NU8000.
I think overall it's better comparatively particularly with local dimming.
The only thing that I find negative about the X900f is the Android OS but all accounts the x9000f appears to be the better TV.
