    tempting….

    • +2

Yeah it definitely is, got me anyways :D

    • 100%, this is a good price.

I think I'm going to wait for the OnePlus 7. The Pixel XL 3 was meant to replace my XL 1, but its so goddam awful.

    • +7

The trouble is, that the Pixel XL is still running pretty well. I've been pushing to replace it but given the price and compromises I just can't do it.

Reckon it'll be the S10 or P4 XL for me

      • I almost quadrupled my SOT by going from PXL to P2XL.

      • I'm still on pixel with cracked screen some glass broke off the top. Hard to buy a new phone when it's still running well and can't sell.

    • Took me a while to replace my Pixel 2XL also. Camera is so Got Damn Goooodddddddd.

Pixel 3 XL was supposed to be my next.. but that horrible bathtub notch…

Currently free Australia Direct Line express shipping available too. Make sure you select it at checkout though.

    • How fast is Australia Direct Line usually?

  • I presume GST must be added to the quoted price?

Rep, please confirm final GST inclusive price in $AU. Thanks.

    • +1

There is no GST being charged to Australians at GeekBuying.

      • How does that work? Would custom open the box and charge me?

        • +13

Not at all. A very common misconception about the new legislation is that customs are checking the packages to see if they've been charged GST - it's simply not true. The new legislation requires that the stores (GeekBuying) collect GST at the time of purchase and pay the ATO at a later date.

Customs only check when the value is over $1000 AUD as they always have.

          • @Clear: Does GeekBuying still pay the GST to the ATO (just not collect it/not charge extra), or are they ignoring the legislation?

            • @sssx: Ignoring the legislation.

  • Oh damn, this is a much better price than the ebay 10% off :( Got mine for $857 for the 8gb + 128gb

    • which ebay buyer did you choose? I'm interested in getting one

      • Apologies for the delay.
I purchased this Ebay Seller: acelectronic13

  • I got mine midnight 8g128gb $830 eBay 10percent off store wide. 2 days till it comes It killing me. Currently running a nexus 6p so laggy battery is terrible so it's going to be a massive jump for me.

    • I'm running the 6p also.. getting tired of lugging a backup battery everywhere I go but the current phones out just hasn't tempted me enough.. waiting to see what the next wave of android realeses bring

      • Replace the battery. Grab a Cameron sino battery off eBay

    • Made the same switch except to the 5t, so much more responsive and snappy. No signs of lagging like the 6p either

    • I bought a new Cameron sino battery from eBay for $10.
      Nexus 6p good as new.

      • I have a replacement battery in mine too, but that doesn't change the fact that it runs like total garbage. Are you using the stock ROM? I want to throw my phone into the river, but I'd prefer to make it more usable again!

        • Yeah stock. I have a pixel but the person I did it for says it's like when it was new.
Throw lineage or AOSP on it and should run better

    • which ebay buyer did you choose? I'm interested in getting one

    • which ebay buyer did you choose? I'm interested in getting one

  • Great deal. Have been loving the 6!

  • +2

So how would the warranty work here as it's an overseas import???

    • Have the expectation of 6 months "warranty" through PayPal and after that you're at their mercy.

  • Where do you add the discount code

    • In the shopping cart click Proceed to Checkout. It lets you add the coupon and choose the shipping method before payment.

      • It says, sorry the coupon is applicable for specific items. What am i missing here?!

        • Make sure it's to the corresponding 3 listed in the deal. Which one are you trying on?

  • No wireless charging?

    • +2

None. Not too many phones offer it for some reason. Those that that do are the LG G7, Samsung s8/9 or wait for the Xaomi Mi Mix 3.

      • Mi mix 2s too

      • Pixel 3/3XL too

    • no need if you have 30w charging brick..

      • I think they are different use cases. Best use case for wireless charging IMO is having a mount in the car with wireless charging built in. Also, just dropping your phone on the charging pad when you go to bed is pretty convenient too. Little things but nice to have.

    • What use is wireless charging? You cant use the device while it is charging.

Dash charging can charge 80% in 30 mins.

  • Code comes up as not applying for this product

  • Sorry, this coupon code is applicable for some specific items.

  • +1

as much as i love this phone and honestly with the recent officeworks note 9 deal,
im wondering is it worth waiting a bit more for a banger deal like that again.
765 vs 1000 for note 9. i think its worth paying extra 235 for a better camera, better video recorder OIS, better screen, bigger battery, spen, waterproof ip68, wireless charging..

    • Note 9 also gets you Bluetooth headphones and fortnite skin to reduce the price

    • And warranty

    • I'm thinking the same. For me the single most important part of a phone is a camera, I know I know kinda silly but even $765 would be the most I've ever paid for a phone so I'd want a good camera in it and the 6T falls short so it's a deal breaker for me personally.

All the other features are bonuses but things I can live without. I have owned a Note 3 and Note 1 in the past and have a soft spot for the series.

$765 for me is a lot, but +$235 isn't a huge stretch if I'm already paying a lot…. Food for thought but I've been thinking the Note 9 also.

  • Code not working?

  • Just tried ONEPLUS01 code and got "This coupon code has ultimately reached the limitation usage times."

    • Working now :)

  • This is a really tempting deal. I've been wanting to switch back to Android since switching to the iPhone X last year but I just don't know if I can pull the trigger.

  • +1

How come are people comfortable buying an almost $800 phone without any sort of warranty or out of warranty support?

    • Roll the dice my friend, in saying that I never had a problem with oneplus devices…

    • I thought the 1 year warranty would still be valid?

  • +2

    No 128 8GB Mirror Black?

    • Coupon code also doesn't work on 128 8GB midnight black. OP says sale is on ALL models…

"Geekbuying is having an 11/11 offer on the OnePlus 6T on all models"

      • Seems like its applicable only for the specified models

  • You can buy the same phone anytime from India from official OnePlus store for 760$. Get a Freind to buy and post it

    • +10

That is under the assumption that we all have friends in India.

      • 1.4 billion people in india and counting you gotta have one

        • +1

Is there a deal for an Indian friend?

        • +1

Can you get and Enfield Bullet 500 sent over?

  • How long does it take for a pending order to be processed? I just placed an order and haven't received any confirmation email yet.

  • +2

If my OnePlus 3T wasn't still performing strongly in all areas I would jump on this great deal.

    • Same, I just want an excuse to replace it!

Though having said that, the USB-C connector is beginning to get a little loose…

  • Reading this post with my 3T, still one of the best item I bought that I have never regretted single time.

  • This is so tempting. Not sure if 6GB 6T or the other Oneplus 6 8GB deal.

    • I went with OP6 for the headphone jack.

      • +1

Good reason, but larger battery + screen are pretty nice to have.

  • +3

This looks a great phone but why remove a headphone port when they reported 80% of their users appreciated its retention in the OnePlus 6?

I'd love one of these but I'm not sure if I'm ready for all the dongles….

  • Guys, I just need to confirm, can I do TRS on this deal? I am flying away end of November. Thanks.

    • +1

Unfortunately no. This is a grey import with no GST receipt.

      • Thanks for reply, so this price is final? Would they add 10% GST on top of this when they ship to Australia?

        • +2

Price is final. GeekBuying do not charge GST.

  • -1

Was waiting for the mix 3 but this might win…

  • +1

All good on the Optus network?
Unlike eBay these don't come with the wall adaptor to fit Australian sockets yeah?

  • Is the extra 2 GB of RAM worth $60 USD?

I would have thought 6 GB would've been plenty

    • I would say not worth it. Previously it was either 64GB/6GB or 128GB/8GB.

Definitely pay $60 for the extra storage, but not so such about ram.

  • +1

Price comes up as 669 without code for 8gb/256gd midnight.

With the code goes up to 689.

    • Didn't even notice…thought it was $699.
Wonder if they'll refund the difference.

  • +1

I'm surprised the phone is this popular despite the lack of VoLTE support? Or is lack of VOLTE not a big enough concern?

    • I thought it did support VoLTE, can someone please confirm?

      • +2

This is where I came across discussions related to VoLTE
        https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2750954

It appears, both the carrier and manufacturer have to work together to bring VoLTE support to a phone in Aus. Telstra supports a selected no. of devices on VoLTE (more info here: https://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/telstravolte)

There's also some discussion on OnePlus forums here: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/lte-support-threatens-ado…

Cut to the chase, I'm not sure whether it's because telcos are being lazy/etc. or whether it requires OnePlus to officially sell this over here before carriers will be willing to support. Until the device is officially sold here, I'm not holding much hopes of VoLTE working :(

Which is a shame - as this phone kicks pretty much kicks most phones' asses given the price category it's in

  • The code still seems to work. I got the 6GB/128GB version using oneplus01.

  • Ordered one on Tuesday. Status is still processing. Any idea of how long it normally takes to ship/receive delivery?
