Where is the love from Zzz Altelier again? I need to buy 3 mattresses quickly the while family is sleeping in carpets for weeks waiting for the next 20% off.

    • +1

I was planning on sleeping on the couch while waiting for the next sale.

      • Lucky you! You still have a sofa to fall back on. We recently moved and a decent sofa is so damn expensive so it will be one of our last items :(

At the moment we have the bed frames with wooden slats or carpets. Trying to that extra $50 is so damn difficult.

        • In that case I suppose that makes sense.

I just thought since the couch needed to be bought eventually and there usually isn't much discount on those, it's better to get that first rather than have to sleep on the floor for god knows how long.

    • You certainly where the pants in your family!

    • me too waiting for that..its been morethan two months i guess since we have deal..

  • How do you guys search for items for a specific seller?! i tried seller: all phones and even used the search seller function…

    can someone help…pretty please…

Looking for Mate 20 (non-pro) or honor magic 2.

    Thanks in advance

MacBook Pro has been hacked to 9 per cent above RRP at apple store. There should be a law against retailers selling way above RRP.

    • -4

      Is 9% really way above?

You'll still get 11% off on this deal?

      • +1

Yes we'll JB hi-fi offer 10 per cent off frequently and you can purchase gift cards for JB hi-fi at 5 per cent off so really 14 per cent off is not hard to come by. The Apple prices are inflated to factoe in these discounts so I was looking for a genuine 20 percent off

        • +1

I bought several David Jones GC earlier this year from Paypal when they did 20% and Coles $10 extra per $100 and I price match with Jbs, my i7 512gb 2018 comes down to $3300. Going overseas next month I’m getting close to $3000, so that’s close to 25% off!

      • +1

Then why dont they just offer 11% off rrp? Why is that so hard?

  • +4

I came here just for the price jacking comments 😀

    • i had my eyes on a certain camera, usually about 1.2k, with the link search its 1.4k. does this satisfy your jacking need? :P

      • +1

does this satisfy your jacking need

        Yep, that helped me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Where are the 65” Sony 9000F deals!?

  • +1

This is insane… Sydney Tech are selling the go pro hero 7 black for $647.74, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-GoPro-HERO7-Black-CHDHX-701/…

JB is selling them for $599 -https://www.jbhifi.com.au/gopro/gopro-hero7-black-4k-hypersmooth-action-cam/917777/?reviews=true

    • +1

There's a GoPro Hero 5 on the same store selling for $2,638. Can't even begin to figure that one out.

      • +4

Essentially the product is out of stock, so the Seller hikes the price of the listing so that people won't buy it and they can keep their listing active to save relisting, to maintain their Search Engine Optimisation ranking and to retain their sales history in one listing. It is a different approach to reach the same goals as detailed here.

        • Hmm thats interesting, thanks!

  • +4

Oh excellent Adultsmart is included! Can finally get the Sports Slam Jam Balls for a discount :)

    Thanks OP.

  • My wife is gonna kill me because of these deals.

  • something weird is happening with that search link. Whenever I type any keystroke, I get doubled strokes.

    So weird = wweeiirrdd.

  • So far everything I have purchased from eBay over last week "on sale" has been less expensive with the next sale.

Suggest wait until Friday if thinking of anything, not that anything much to see in the above / bypass eBay altogether.

Jack and Jill went up the hill
    To do another "deal"
Jack got uncovered and it was discovered
    But Ozbargainers plussed forever after

      Not bad. Needs work though.

      • Not to bad for a r/showerthoughts

    • Jacking up the votes

  • any deal on ONEPLUS 6T?

  • FYI, do not be tempted by the extra deals you see that say an additional 10% off and already 10% off price as this is < 20% in total. I was just checking out a Seagate 12TB NAS Drive which had this additional discount applied. Seller was Tech Mall in that example which is giving the 20% discount tomorrow.

For reference the original price was AU$685 then had 10% discount applied to make it $616.50 and THEN the additional 10% of $61.65 applied to that to make the final total = $554.85.

  • -1

Where do you find the time to do all of this for us, tightarse? 🤗

    • +8

This benefits the sellers more than it actually benefits the consumers, makes people think they are getting a bargain when they are really just getting an average price due to price jacking

  • Saving some items and writing down the price. If the price bumps up, no sale.

    • Too late. Earlier comments indicate that the price-jacking had already started.

  • guys having trouble looking for fridges - the search link when i modify it to home fridges it shows all fridges on ebay not the stores selected in the link

    • I found clicking on "Advanced Search" they keying the description in there retains the suppliers list.

  • Any good deals on the Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal?

  • Anyone know if eglobal has a history of jacking?
They haven't seemed to have jacked what I'm watching … yet …

  • +1

20% off starts at 10.00AM to enable enough time for the price 'amendments' to be completed. A midnight tonight start would be just too inconvenient! 🤔

  • Don't know why some crazy people are selling this toy at $1300 on ebay.
But if you missed out last time on ALDI's deal ($499), now is your chance to get it at even cheaper price ($549 x 20% off = $439). https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/372502557745

    • My Aldi had plenty left, was wondering who would buy something like this for the Aldi full price, guess there is a market…

  • anything on new ipad pro accessories?

  • I would like to buy some gift cards from JBHiFi or HN. Can I get it from above 20% offer. I mean 8f it is here anyone can suggest me the storename please…much appreciated.

    • Don't fancy your chances - gift cards are supposed to be excluded! T&C #5 "Exclusions. This offer does not apply to items listed by the Selected Sellers in the following category: Gift Cards (184609)."

  • Let's hope there Will be a bargain.

  • Airpods anyone?

  • Sony Australia removed the A7R III, they had listed more than 10.

  • not the cheapest it has been - but nokia 7 plus is down to 445

  • +2

how these ridiculous "bargains" still get massive upvotes?

    • For the shaver shop the price on the braun series 9 is considerably less than the previous bargain they had. Not sure why you think this is "ridiculous". Yes some places "price jack", but some don't.

  • it is working now?

  • Dammit onsport removed the fitbit charge 3 before the 20% off… was there a few hours ago…. dirty

  • Hi TA, will this promo code be eligible with Cashrewards?

  • Videopro removed Lumix Gh5S just before sale….dogs

  • Awesome! Nearly $100 off a carbon fibre scooter for me! :)

    • buy me one so we can be scooter buddies ;)

  • Till an hour ago, KG Electronic store had most items having "10% off at Checkout". Now even though it still says so, it doesnt apply anymore.
    Was looking to get this
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Philips-GC9642-PerfectCare-Elite…

  • My wife got a $10 coupon code as well. Can I double up with that unique to her account code plus PEPPY?

    • You can try, but per the T&C #6 "This code cannot be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher." it probably won't work…

      • +1

Thanks. I went ahead and got the 14tb Seagate Ironwolf NAS drive from Futu. Slightly cheaper than when they had the deal on 24 Oct as well. Been recording the prices over the last few months. I'm kicking myself though for not buying the 14tb PRO as they were relatively cheap. Now they have gone up in price and are pretty much sold out on Futu etc for the last month.

        • +2

Yeah, same here… bought some 250GB Samsung EVO SSDs just recently - funnily enough from Futu IIRC, and the 500gb Samsung EVO SSDs are dropping to not far off the same price… and from something I read are likely to continue to drop in price over the next few months!!! damn!

  • Thanks, got the last Apple Pencils for $108 delivered!

  • Allphones pricejacked a Huawei 3e I was eyeing. From 387.38 since early October to $441.78 now. Pretty shameless.

  • Anyone have any recommendations on the portable aircons on sale? I've never heard of DEVANTi but those seem to be the only ones on sale.

Looking for something that could cool a lounge room on these up and coming 40 degree days.

  • any good deals for Samsung 1tb t5 portable SSD?

  • Yesterday, Shopping Express had a 10% discount on certain items, shown when added to cart, to which the 5% discount coupon stacked. Today, that 10% discount is gone. So it has gone from a 15% discount to a 20% discount. The eventual price of the item I was looking at now ends up costing exactly the same as the cheapest price by another competitor not on eBay (including shipping), based on myshopping.com.au prices. Somehow, even when applying all these discounts, prices always end up "okay but not great".

  • Awesome! I can finally get a Simon and be like David Guetta lmao

  • Im looking for a 65inch TV. Any stores selling one for a good price?

  • Bought a tv the other week for $1606 after discounts.

With this 20% off comes down to $1443 with another ebay seller. About $160 savings. Signed up to ebay plus and the store is a ebay plus seller so free send back.

Whats peoples experience with sending stuff back through ebay plus? Is it hard is organising a send back.. worth the trouble?

    Cheers

  • Does the search link break firefox for anyone else?

  • eglobalcentral-au is also included.

They were just added to the list today

I missed out my Nokia 8 sirocco!!!

    • Apparently, i got the only one before they remove the listing….

Actually, although they were not on the list yesterday, but you can still find items sold by this seller through the search link provided.

      • But the 20% off code didn't work yday

        • +1

Yeah didn’t work but this was posted yesterday so as the search link.
I used the search link to find the Nokia phone and had it loaded in my cart ready to go since last night.

          • @Ahan: You're right

            • @syl: It’s back in stock!

  • Here a precfect example of price jacking . Same store + same 20% off $100 more or 23% more then last sale
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/409970

  • Any Arlo pro 2 in this batch

  • Anyone trying to get a small value item for a business from overseas (importing low value items) there is supposedly a process your supposed to follow to get them to remove the GST from your purchase as they WILL NOT give your a proper TAX INVOICE which you can use to claim it from the ATO.

So far in my dealings their support seems to have no idea about this or how to implement it

    https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/paying-items/paying-tax-…

Section about Importing less than $1000 value items. The advice aligns with the ATO's web information.

    https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/International-tax-for-busine…
    https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/International-tax-for-busine…

You can try to get them to take your ABN and your direction its for business use. So far I have had no luck

    • Latest response is that they will credit me back somehow…. as I havnt made a purchase yet I am pushing on finding the process to correctly get it removed in the first place.

And when asked directly this is what they indicated. SO you should be able to get a credit back to them if you supply them an ABN and statement that its for business purposes.

      "Hello xxxx,
Thank you for getting back to us about your query on the GST.
We don't have a ways to exclude your account for the charge that some of the regular buyers of eBay incurred for the GST. However we can manually credit the amount of the GST once you already purchase the item. Just provide us the details of the item you purchased that you will use in your business so that we can start processing the manual credit.
I trust this information is helpful in resolving your issue. Thank you for choosing eBay!"

      • Successfully requested refund of GST through ebay based on the above. 7 days for them to process it tho but confirmed by CSR its being refunded.

      • According to the ATO info you just need to give them your ABN and state you are registered for GST, but unfortunately never that simple.

I've been banging my head against a brick wall trying to deal with eBay and others over this though.

I finally managed to get a refund out of Banggood for a business purchase, though it took many many emails back and forth.
Not because they didn't understand what I was trying to achieve, but they were asking for stuff that wasn't necessary, documents of business registration etc. It was like they didn't believe me, in the end what finally did it was emailing them from the business domain (my order was using my gmail, banggood account was set up years ago.) It was a small item, mainly to test the process.. a lot of work for a small refund :)

I also had a small order to test AliExpress out as well, you are supposed to fill this form out to process a GST refund. I did, never heard anything or got refunded. Was even smaller amount than the Banggood order, but I should follow up to find out.

Latest is Amazon US now they are shipping to Aus again. Again no way to add ABN in the first place. Couple of chats hasn't got anywhere yet. One basically directed me to Amazon Global on AU site, second chat seemed to have a better understanding of what I was asking, said they have directed the question to the "tax team" and will get back to me in 3 days, so will see if that actually happens.

Good to hear you got somewhere with eBay though. Did you have to contact anyone specific?

        • I used the chat and banged on at them with ATO links of their obligations and their own links - My ABN etc. Eventually then confirmed they would refund it - and after purchasing confirmed they had refunded my transaction - money hasnt arrived yet but I am hopeful.

Wading through ATO detail even if you do not get a refund - another part of ATO site indicates you could still claim it as a GST credit based on the fact they "refused" to refund it. I would keep chat transcripts and al the evidence you can on the transaction tho.

Any of these sellers sell iPad??

  • Reckon officeworks will match prices on this?

    • Officework dont pricebeat coupon code discounted price.

  • This does not work.

There is a store calles "Beyblades" (apparently) in the list. Um….

    https://m.ebay.com.au/sch/Beyblades/m.html?isRefine=true&_ip…

    It doesnt work.

Can someone tell me exactly how you navigate to any one of those stores in that huge list?
