Incoming posts about Sony's new headphones are better in every way.
I bought a pair of these last year. When the new Sony ones were released, I seriously considered upgrading to them as everyone was raving about how much better the sound quality and noise cancelling were. Tried them on at JB-Hifi and the reviews were right - the sound quality and ANC were noticibly better.
However, what I found was that the inner cups of the Sony headphones actually pushed onto my ears and after 5 minutes of using them it began to feel irritating - you might want to find somewhere and try on both pairs before you commit to a purchase!
I've been really tempted getting the Sony's as well especially seeing all the good prices lately. But reading all the reviews the consensus is the Sony's are better in almost every way except for comfort, which granted can be subjective. But more objectively, the difficulty in connecting to and switching between multiple devices. This is the main deal breaker as the Bose is pretty much seamless in this regard.

Ability to connect to multiple devices at once - YESCall-wise they are way better, the Sony sounds like you're talking thru a pretzel
Watched reviews on youtube about the w1000xm3 and the caller sounds like they are wearing a darth vader mask.
If the sony could just get ability to pair multiple devices via bluetooth. Better in call mic. And more roomier earcups.
I mean seriously the sony earcups are bigger than the bose. So there should be no reason for your earlobe tip touching the inside of headphone. Most if not all the reviewers i watched said the same thing. Their earlobes got sweaty.
Any Zippay option for this price or preferably less?
Maybe next time when addicted to audio has a sale on their website use them as they do offer that

We have both at home. I find the BOSE to be more comfortable (I only have a small head though).

You are not alone. I got motion sick for a while until I got used to it.
I really wanna buy these and its a great price the moral injustice of the seller jacking their eBay price is putting me off
