      • Thanks but that just means there's lotsa holes in this GST scheme? As ebay would have no control where the seller sends the item from? The seller doesn't even needta trick ebay, the item location is just whereever the seller claims?

        • Yeh basically but if they get caught by ebay (or proven to ebay) ebay will need to ban them I think its in their seller terms now somewhere.

  • Any recommendations for HDD for laptop? Recently bought a Lenovo E485 that came with just a 240gb SSD.

Was hoping for a higher maximum for a TV purchase. However should still make the Sony KD65X9000F a decent price at $2445 from the Good Guys ebay (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sony-KD65X9000F-65-165cm-UHD…)

  • +2

Was hoping max discount would be $300 at least

    • +5

Same here. This $250 limit makes it the max amount of item that can be spent to $1667 :(

  • How many times would you be able to use the code? Just the once?

    • 2 transactions per person, limit 10 items per transaction

    Awesome deal, thanks TA!!

  • Can I pay for $600 phone with $500 gift cards and the rest using another credit card?

    • As long as it's a "Gift card" and not a "voucher" (like the ones issued by FlyBuys), then yes you can.

      • +1

This + you can officially only use 8 gift cards per transaction. I have heard unofficially you can possibly use more though.

        • I bought $2000 tv with some

          • @Owgasm: I have used $2500 and was capped by a daily limit

      • I was going to buy the eBay gift cards from the other deal.
It's good if that works. Never used gift cards to buy before.

  • Will return the Dyson item I bought yesterday. Thanks to the ebay plus I can return it for free..

  • Code doesnt work with microsoft surface laptop purchase

    • Starts 5pm

  • Offer Period. This offer commences at 17.00 (AEDT) on 22 November and is available for a limited time only, for as long as it is advertised by eBay on www.ebay.com.au (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time.

Bit disappointed in the $250 max discount considering the 10% was $300.
Might hold off for another 10% as my item is over $2500.
Unless of coarse cash rewards jumps in with 4% or 5% 😁.

    • same ! was expecting more

    • You can do two transactions with the code, so a combined spend $3332

      • These sitewide ones always have lower max discount and more restrictions, I got lucky on a $4k purchase which was $500 limit. Thanks to TA's OZB 11% Discount back in may, and $2500 worth of WW gift cards

  • bummer, max purchase price is then only $1666.66

have $4000 bucks in the cart

    • +2

what the hell is in your cart?

    • Max discount is $250, don't think you'll be limited to how much you can purchase, you'll simply get a discount up to $250 on your purchase (although I could be wrong).

    • create another ebay account… or two

    • you are allowed two transactions, so split it so they fall under $1667

      • can't buy half a leica twice

        • sorry legend sounded like you had multiple items

  • Does this 15% off cover gym equipment? I don't want to commit to buying ebay gift cards unless I know I'm going to get the discount.
    Thanks

    • Edit: nevermind

So what does ebay now have against "Car & Truck Parts (6030)" to exclude them from all the recent codes including this one??? Just don't understand why.

    • -2

My watch list is ALL car parts. So no purchases from me until they fix this travesty.

      • +1

        Did you read the terms?

Excluded: All items listed in the following categories: Cars, Bikes, Boats (9800), Car & Truck Parts (6030)

        • +1

The travesty is that ebay is always excluding car parts!

      • I wouldn't hold much hope as this has been the third code in a row to now exclude car parts, I reckon it is here to stay now!!!
