241

Purchase a Galaxy Note9, Galaxy S9 | S9+ from Samsung retail or online store by the 24th Dec 2018 to receive a bonus 512GB microSD

Not much of a deal buying phones at their full RRP but here's hoping they extend offer to include all retailers. Then hopefully can pull trigger on next 20% off deal.

  • Literally saw this advertised in Westfields today on a sign but didn't think to post it :(

    • Not really missing out on much haha

        Except a post.

Hope the S10 hosts a headphone jack. HiFi DAC/AMP would also be a plus.

Has this Samsung card even been announced … looking in the news I see 'biggest micro SD - 512GB' cards talked bout only as recently as Nov 13th and its under the Intergral brand.

    • agree. It has been a bit vapourware. Given it is most likely a redemption, you probably won't see it until Feb next year given their processing rates and Christmas/New Year period.

      • They were surprisingly fast with the headphone redemption. 2 weeks turn around.

      • +1

It's not a redemption. You'll get it at time of purchase.

The card is available now to buy separately at $349 if you need one. JB has now listed it on their website.

      • No, its not a redemption. Memory card gets automatically added to the cart when you add phone to the cart.

    • 512GB microSD is listed on the JB website

  • 512Gb microsd card is impossible to get, so might be worth it if you want one.

Kinda rediculous that the retail price here in Australia for Galaxy Note 9 512GB is $1800 when you can source a parallel import for $1200 +/-.

Why is it "$600" more to get an Aussie version? if it were $300 more i can understand i get it … we pay GST + you get an over-priced 2 year Australian warranty, support etc for peace of mind.

    But $600 more?
almost pulled the trigger on a grey import BNIB 512GB Note 9 on Black Friday sale with eBay 20% off for $1150. plus Cashrewards.

Waiting for another REAL eBay 20% off sale after seeing that.

Right now the sales are all fake.
Jack the price WAY up and offer 10-15% or sneak them down again and offer 5%.
Just like Woolworths specials on the same items over and over every 3rd week.

This is Oz Bargains. You should really know by now when you're getting a genuine deal or when getting stiffed by 365 year long fake sales because back in the day retail sales were only once a year or sometimes half yearly and they were GENUINE.

        that guy (profanity)

    • +1

      Yep, the sales are fake.

It’s as if RRP these days is the “sale” price. But still not a real sale price.

You gotta keep shopping around to find the real bargains.

    Thanks, Osama Bin Bean.

  • Any way to combine this with the $200 eftpos card promo?

    • No. The $200 card promo is not available through Samsung retail. It's the 512gb card buying from them.

Or $200 card if buying from JB, HN and TGG.

      • Cheers. Thought so, but figured I'd confirm.

You can buy a Note 9 128GB on eBay for $1000 and a 512GB SD card for about $30. Almost $500 cheaper than what they're asking on the Samsung site.

    • Link please???? 512GB for $30 I would be all over it….Also, please provide a link for $1000 OZ stock Galaxy Note 9???

      I will buy 2 each…Thanks

        https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=galaxy+not…
Legit looking ones start around $870 Lots around 1050 mark from ebay plus sellers. Cheapest is $420 although I'm not sure that is legit.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/512GB-256GB-128GB-Class-10-Micro… There's one at $16 so $30 is on the upper end

Samsung retail as point by people above is well over what it can be found for and definitely not a bargain. 30-50% under is certainly worth a neg, hell even 5% under is supposedly worth a neg. Son.

OZ stock?? You do realize that 512GB card only got released last month and only other brand that has announced 512GB card is integral which won't be released until Feb next year. Son you would be better off flushing those $16 down the toilet because you're never going to see that untracked parcel.

Also, good luck looking for OZ stock of Note 9 below $1000. That link you posted for $420 is an auction of Note 9 with a cracked screen and nearly 2 days left for auction to finish.

          Still a rookie!

@Julius: Exactly how I reacted…Thank you for proving my point.

            • @dealhunter52: Seems you two are at war after you negged his post a few days ago.

              • @Julius: Yup, it appears that way…He needs to realize wasn't a neg to him but the deal he posted. I think he took it personally.

                I revoked anyway.

@know001 Don't neg for the sake of it son…do some homework and provide links
