You can reply to all these apps from the watch. You just can't create a message from those apps.

no. but you can still view and respond to messages from your watch.

Anything that supports the android/ios reply. So nearly all apps.

How does the 4G model work? Is it like the kindle where there is a sim card built into it and 4G is usable at no charge or do you need to purchase a plan for the watch through a telco?
I went to telstra and they said you can pay $5 a month and it just leeches off your phone plan.

Watch normally uses only few MB a day. But that's not case if you stream spotify.

Much better battery life, looks like a watch, performs faster than wear os. Still not as good as Apple watch but it's the best Android has.
Might as well get the Gear S3.

In Australia, from what I've seen pretty much all terminals have NFC. It's mostly an issue over in the states.
Not to mention there's barely any cards that support MST here.
I've seen a few comparisons with tizen vs wearOS, apparently tizen is more snappy and less prone to freeze/lag compared to wearOS. The issue with apps, it might be different with other people, but aside from a stopwatch app, there aren't many other apps that I've installed on the watch.
I cancelled my order after reading a few reddit posts about contactless payments not working. If I only knew it wasn't a problem in Australia. Dammit.
