Boozebud - Who are they? Where did they come from?

ok, so I thought boozebud was some independent online shop.

recently they had some great deals for BlackFriday , cyber monday and the groupon deal.

so i bought 2 bottles of Johnnie Walker Red 700ml for $23.75 each from this awesome deal - thanks OP.

nice price.

so then I started get emails saying "Your Dan Murphy order is on its way" and I was like "?????"

I'd recently (last week) ordered some booze from DM , but that was later cancelled due to a supply issue on their end .

then yesterday another message "your Dan Murphy order is arriving tomorrow"

then delivery was made today. - boozebud 2 x 700ml JR red.

and then a confirmation email "you Dan Murphy order has been delivered"

whilst I knew boozebud allowed/boosted smaller players in to the online market, i didn't realise that uncle Dans would ride the wave as well.

is this really a thing? Dan Murphy cutting their own prices to get in on this business?

  I didnt realise Boozebud got bought out. Ive been using them for about a year with no problem until now. I'm totally filthy with them right now, it took them 2 weeks to deliver 3 cases of beer. No apologies at all they just said they were swamped with orders then had the cheek to run the Black Friday deal. I couldn't wait that long and ended up at Dans.

  BWS do that now. I've used it a couple of times (they ran a promo when it kicked off). Pretty happy with it. Got the goods within the hour too.
  
  Now if only a craft beer delivery-in-under-an-hour service would start up, so I can drink something other than Guinness.. not that that's a bad thing.

Take the deals as they come. They have sold me multiple cartons of Sierra Nevada at under $65 delivered over the past year, so I am pleased.
