    QLC 3D NAND

Know what you are getting before you buy.

    Specs from Intel

Sequential Read (up to) 1800 MB/s
Sequential Write (up to) 1800 MB/s
Random Read (8GB Span) (up to) 150000 IOPS
Random Write (8GB Span) (up to) 220000 IOPS
Endurance Rating (Lifetime Writes) 200 TBW
    Warranty Period 5 yrs

Endurance works out to be 110GB write per day, about one-third of mainstream TLC SSDs. This SSD has a DRAM cache of 256 MB, compared to 1 GB of mainstream SSDs, but still infinitely better than DRAMless SSDs.

AnandTech review of the Intel 660p. They reported 100MB/s sustained sequential write speed after the SLC cache is exhausted.

      Run away!

    • You had me at 100MB/s

  • draw card for some might be that it is pcie instead of sata at this price point,

i have enough 1 tb as at drives which are sub $200 at the moment with cash backs that i will wait for killer deal with local stock..

  • The 970evos came down to around this price if you included the 5% gc and $45 cash back.

    • I don't think the 970 1TB sticks quite got that near that price. And, couldn't find many in stock anyway.

Although tomorrow, with 10% off, the Samsung should be around $240 after Cashback at Ebay sellers. If you have any 5% GC left… then THAT would be pretty good price.
