  • Anyone know how they compare to the Taotronics equivalent?

Cushioned ear pads with protein leatherette, Soft Memory Protein Earmuffs,

      Sounds delicious

      • Salted Caramel flavour?

      I bought both.

Compared to the Taotronics ones, these sound slightly better. Things sound clearer and the noise cancelling does a better job.

There might be some inconsistencies with these products though. You'll notice with the review for this and the TaoTronics ones that some people have problems with bluetooth reception not being very good and noise cancelling being lacklustre. That wasn't my experience with either of them. Both were very good value for money when you compare to what you get with Sony and Bose for 6x the amount of money.

  • Manufacturer have not specified bluetooth version of this device anywhere. Can someone state BLUETOOTH VERSION if they have bought it. I tried to ask on Amazon also, no useful reply.

NC75 has bluetooth 4.1 so NC25 must have the same or lower.

      • Thanks buddy

        • Also they don't have aptX if you're wondering.

          • @Bigboomboom: Oh ok, I thought most headphones come with it….
Then sound quality can not be as they advertise. What is your opinion on it

            • @Adams1: I have NC75, the sound quality is OK, obviously nothing like advertised. I don't have Taotronics to compare, but I doubt there would be much different, so buy the cheaper one.

    • Wireless Bluetooth 4.1 as stated on their website www.isrhythm.com

  • I used to own one of these, but had to return for either the headphone I received was faulty or it was just utter useless:

Bluetooth somehow cuts when phone is in pocket. Other headphones I own do not have this problem. When phone is in pocket, song playing will continuously cut and distort consistently.

The static sounds from noise cancelling option is really bad. If I were to play softer songs with NC on, the static sound turns out to be louder than the song itself. Only louder bass songs can successfully remove the static

The face it uses what I believe is SBC, not the standard Aptx is also a downgrade for me. I've listened to both codecs and I can hear the differences between them.

Noise cancelling is also not on par, with replacement of low frequency noise with static noise. Soft songs are not loud enough to remove the static, so cannot be used without music.

I've paid for 5 of these. got 1 early this year to try out & bought 4 more recently for xmas gifts.
Around $50, I think it's pretty good. Comparable in sound quality with the Bose AE2, but with better bass.
Haven't test it on the plane, but tried it out with the bathroom & kitchen exhaust fan and it does reduced the humming noise.
The headphone & case are well made. Fit comfortably on my (big) head. I've no problem with it.

  • Hi Ameowzon, has this deal expired? Can't seem to get the code to work, or another code to work (WZ8UEV4S) from an earlier post

Your wish is my command: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/428994.

      • Such a speedy reply!

I was actually after the Srhythm Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones Foldable over Ear, rather than the Srhythm Wireless Earbuds NC15. Any more wishes remaining? =)
