Razer Raiju Ultimate - $279.20 (Was $349) @ JB Hi-Fi

30

Great price on what is reportedly a great pro controller for the PS4.

Do some research on these are some owners are reporting stick drift without updating to the latest beta firmware.

1 year warranty from JB also so if you have issues it should be a simple swap/return.

It costs as much as a PS4.. never knew a controller can cost this much.

Some gaming wheel sets cost a few thousand dollars so not surprised to see a $279 controller.

Yeah, but they are metal and have motors and lots of tech. This is a gamepad.

I was really looking forward to this on launch and while the specs and the price looks great, it unfortunately has some serious issues. Analog sticks drifting, headset not working while in wireless mode and also noticeable lag. Users on Reddit have managed to get around a few of these via firmware updates.

I would be wary about taking a plunge on this as a quick scour through Google tells me that this quality isn't up to the scratch you'll be spending on it. Gonna wait a few more months or even the next model

    • I agree. I was an early adopter for the first raiju, the durability was not that great. The extra buttons and two of the face buttons ended up getting jammed and locking out the linked buttons. My first one lasted over a year, but they were nice enough to replace the controller for me. Second gen of the raiju has been much durable so I would suggest waiting until they've fixed all the bugs.

  • Just get a custom Scuf or Cinch from overseas and save yourself some $$

  • A controller that cost more than a console? Are people really paying this much for this kind of Tech? How much did this company invested into this controller to think that an average person would pay this much for it?

  • It's back to $349 now
