Was hoping the 20% cashback like the black friday one
But 10% is still better than nothing..lol

    Your turn Cashrewards

  • This is exactly what I was waiting for. Been eyeing off a coffee machine and it went on sale today but waiting for tomorrow's inevitable cashback increases.

  • Does this apply to items not sold by Amazon (i.e. sold by third parties), but fulfilled by Amazon?

    • Yes this is fine.

Cashrewards upping their game in 3…2…1…

  • Sorry, Im new to OZbargain. Does the limit of $50 apply per transaction/item? Like If I buy Item A and B separate, do they both have a limit of $50? Thanks everyone

    • +2

Yeah, that’s exactly how it was last time.

    • +2

Just To clarify for you too, it's $50 cashback, which means you can spend up to $500 and have 10% back, if you purchase anything above that you still receive $50 max

      • +2

Thanks! I'm planning to get a Switch and a few games which add to over $500. So i'll be doing it in two transactions to make the most of it! (: Thanks again

Hmm the $50 cap hurts items over $833.33 as compared to the former 6% rate which I don’t think had a cap.

    • +2

I think you mean $500. The $833 would be at the 6% rate with a cap.

  • Tried to use shop back on Mobile but was not successful. I had Amazon app opening at the same time, could that be the reason?

    • Hi Sungrower,

This is correct. You'll need to purchase on Amazon's mobile site.

  • If I've stuff already in my cart, can it be removed then re-added once I click through Shopback?

    • Hi zfa,

Yes of course. Remove your items from your cart first, click through ShopBack, add them all back to your cart then pay :)

      • Will it work though the mobile browser. Or does it have to be through a PC

        • Works on mobile browser (firefox) for me

        • Yes mobile browser is fine, as long as you're shopping on Amazon's website (not app).

          • @gotyourback: Ok I might give it a try. The last time I used shopback it did not get recorded - so I'm a bit apprehensive

When I checked my click history it was there and I did not have items in my cart

  • I haven't understood properly. So the order I am to make on one item is %1700. Do I get 10% cashback on the first $500 and the $1200 remainder 6% or will it only be $50 cashback in total? If so should I wait for the the 10% to be over and order the item when cashback returns to 6% or there is a limit there too?

    • +1

      Hi Winston100s,

It is just $50 cashback that you'll get at the moment. You can wait for the 10% offer to end, where you'll get 6% of the total amount excluding GST (no cap).

      • +1

Thanks for your reply. I made the order yesterday at 6% cashback, but then thought I might cancel the order to get a better deal. I will leave it the way it is then. :)

  • @rep how long is expected for sales from click through to be recognized? Usually get them pretty quick but one order I made around 4 days ago hasn't tracked yet

    • Hi Duplicity,

Amazon takes up to 4 days, though sometimes there may be a delay. Feel free to PM your email address and order date/time for us to check.

  • I am wanting to buy Maxi cosi Zelia pram priced @$499.99. If I follow the above will I get $50 off.

    Thanks

    • Hi akmirror,

You will get 10% cashback on the pre GST price. So you'll get around $45.45 in cashback.

  • is this per purchase or for all purchases total? (how many transactions can we use this on?)

    • Hi newox,

      As above, per purchase.

  • Capping it @ $50 is good until $500 purchase amount, I was eyeing the Lenovo X1 Carbon and with that price of $2k the Cashrewards 5% no cap is way better. This is poor form given on the 17th it was without a cap and now that it is boxing day you put a cap on it.

    • Hi parallelparadox,

Sorry but we need to control our margins if we want to run more of these in future :)

      • Yes you need to control your margins, but wouldn't have that been the question back on the 17th? Or did something change in the last 2 weeks?
All good though, as I said people with bigger purchases just wont use Shopback, so the little margin you could have made, you wont make at all…

  • I purchased something on AmazonAU yesterday (empty cart before hand) but haven't got a tracking email yet

Hope that is normal to take a while :-o

    • +1

      Hi aurz,

Amazon purchase take up to 4 days to track.

      • Just got email! YAY :) Thanks heaps

  • Hi Store Rep,

I’ve clicked through ShopBack and ordered 5 items from Amazon.com.au at around 5am 26/12. I’ve received tracking confirmations today, but there’re only 4 out of 5 items got tracked.

Why the tracking system is so clunky ?! Would you be able to sort it out for me ?
