I think those samples show the actual carpets being given away, so if you don't like the colour or design no need to attend.
They are rolls of carpet according to the comments and the picture. Room size and up. Not the square samples.

This deal looks like a bit of a shag show.
Just drove past and the road is packed wth cars as is the road down to rocks riverside park, the babptist church has roped off their car park to stop people using it so if you’re heading down try parking on seventeen mile rocks road and walking up. What will be amusing is the number of people there without a Ute or trailer or even roof racks who might try to take a roll home in/on a car
My dad got there at 7:20am with his van and said their were already hundreds of people waiting. He said it wasn’t worth waiting and came back home

Booked in for the LPG removal on Tuesday… it leaks so much that businesses I deliver to were evacuating due to a gas leak. The tank is in the rear bootwell which means I can't fold the rear seats flat to the floor
Neighbour went there and said it was an unorganised mess. At 8 they came to the gate and said cars first then pedestrians so then all the cheapskates ran for their cars to drive in, nearly hitting pedestrians etc, he walked home said it wasn’t worth it
