I have to agree with issh about this. I get frustrated seeing all of these freebies - ios apps. Some days, I get annoyed wading through them, only because I am jealous I do not have what is needed to be able to use them. : ( In fact, just yesterday morning I started to write a suggestion to change the way ios apps. freebies are posted. Something such as a dropdown box under freebies that would allow you to see the free ios apps. Alternatively, perhaps putting ios apps at the top next to the summit, new deals, popular. In my frustration at how to make the suggestion constructive, I gave up. Anyway, I decided against working out the wording because I figured I was probably being too fussy and (Apple jealous) in regards to making this kind of change. Long story long, I think remedying this would be great! Just my $0.02. Since this is out there now, what do the MODs think?
I think it's a similar thing to posting a deal that's for example WA specific. Ideally we could have user set filters that "exclude all deals that do not apply to me" and when somebody submits a deal we could add a set of boxes for "who does this deal apply to" where you can tick the states as well as things like "those with an iOS device" or something like that.

i think this is a good idea.
it relies on the user to submit correct data, which is fine most of the time, but sometimes people don't know what states a deal applies to (like finding a clearance item at one store - do they apply that to all states or just their state)
