        Good luck with that. It's taken over 8 months for P20 Pro to drop below $850. I got mine in May soon after release, it cost me $990 and after selling Bluetooth and TRS it was below $830. Mate 20 Pro at the same period of time is around $1450 - a $450 hike, and best price more than 2 months after release is still above $1250.

        So with a much higher starting price I don't see it happening until at least October if at all. I'd say by the time Mate 30 Pro releases, it could still be over $900.

        Yep. The P20 and mate 20 pro currently have the best cameras if any phone on the market, according to dxomark and numerous reviews

        For OS I would get oneplus 6t

        For camera I would go Huawei

        For updates I would go Pixel 3

        Samsung doesn't have a place atm

    Got Pie last year on my P20 Pro. Pretty frequent with security updates too. Much better than previously owned Android phones such as Samsung, HTC and LG. Oh the Camera is exceptional.

    Mate and P series have always had 2 major upgrades.

    The latest update for Mate 8 (released in 2015 with 6.0 upgraded to 7.0 then 8.0) was 4 months ago for global dual-sim version, and a couple of days ago for Chinese variants. So I'd say 3 years of updates should be expected.
