Note that this TV turns off for 10 minutes every 4 hours as a feature to protect the panel….

Eww what a crappy "feature", RIP binge watching :p

I mean sure, have it on by default - but at least give an option to turn it off :/

can use service menu to turn off

Update on the 4 hour turn-off: you can disable this completely in the Factory Menu.

        1. Hit Menu
        2. Hit 2008
        3. Enable "Burn Mode"

This is a quality assurance test mode for testing burn-in over long periods of time, so the TV will no longer turn itself off. When there is no signal, the picture will rotate around full brightness red, green, blue and white, so this might not be for everyone, and of course it may reduce the longevity of your OLED panel.

        • Huh well that's good then

  • what is power consumption like in comparison with classic tvs

Did anyone actually get one at that price? Gather it was a pricing error? Despite its issues, at $650 it’s a great buy as a second tv!

People keep whining about the 4 hour safety feature that you can turn off anyway instead of talking about the panel itself. I would like to hear about the picture and hdr quality.

Can anyone vouch for this over a 4k lcd panel? My current panel is only 400nit hdr.
