They've had a few pretty lame deals the past few weeks so it's good to see a return to form even if it's not as great value as some of the holiday coupons last month.

Said the code only works for recurring orders, can you cancel the subscription right after ordering?

    • I would also like to know this

    • +1

You can cancel after your first order is underway.

Fine print in the email says you can…

^Available through regular checkout only. 7 meals for $47 will cease if you change your order but your $15.65 discount will stay in place.

    • I just used the code on a single order. It doesn't need to be recurring.

I’ve been having Youfoodz for the last few months for lunch at work.

But the quality is going down and the meals are getting more and more salty.

I think I’m gonna pass until it’s like $5.5 per meal.

    • Yeah have to agree, their newer menu is pretty poor (The only 'great' meal IMO is the nacho beef bow and even that has degraded in quality since it was launched)*. Their new versions of meals seem to have less ingredients and are cheaper to make / less tasty. Disagree on the salt for some, I had a couple that had no salt at all and needed it added (and I never add salt). So maybe just their quality control is going out the window.

*I rate a great meal as one that's tasty, reasonably healthy but hard to prep yourself in a large batch because it doesn't keep well.

Personally, I'd be fine with this price if their quality hadn't degraded significantly. Now, not so much.

Have to lock it in for 4 order, no thanks

  • Heads up for those wondering about the recurring order issue:
    - If you order via their app, the code works for a single non-recurring order (credit card payment only, no paypal) - I just did this and it worked fine
    - OR if you have quick checkout saved from a previous order, the code will work for a single order on the website.

I chose "recurring order", went to next screen to enter the code - then navigated back one screen and changed it to a one-off order - and it kept the discount.
