      lol is this a joke?

    • It's kinda become an esport title like CSGO, Dota, LoL etc so just like those games I don't think this game will get a sequel anytime soon.

Whats the difference with Standard and Advanced Edition?

  • What are the OCE servers like>? Same 10 people playing or is it quite good

    • What do you mean by same ten people? this game is always in the top 5 of most played games on steam. Right now it's 4th with 60k players. You shouldn't have a problem finding players. That's just on steam. A lot of people have bought this game on Uplay (since it's almost always cheaper there) so add the two platforms and you will see that it has a nice & healthy playerbase.

      • 60k players and Im assuming like 99.9% of that is NA. I was asking about the OCE servers because if you played other fps games, OCE isnt that populated with people playing, especially on PC.

        • So in your mind, out of potentially 50k-100k total players on PC at one going time, there will only be the 'same ten people' in OCE?

          • @Ostrk: ? In my mind? Have you played any online games at all?

          • @Ostrk: It's top 5 on Steam, but you've also got to include uPlay PC players aswell. I usually find a game within a minute of searching.

          • @Ostrk: I mean he could be right maybe not ten but less than a handful.

I know on BFV PC OCE it can get pretty slim especially at odd times.

Some games just have good OCE servers some games don't.

            • @AlienC: BFV on PC doesn't have nearly as many active players as this, it's not even worth comparing the two games. And besides, I've been playing it too and I would not call it dead when there are always full servers (unless you play at 3am).

              • @Ostrk: I am going off on a tangent here but what is off peak Oceania servers population like r6 and how would you compare the population to other popular online games that you have played.

I really only have bfv pc to compare to and the only other online game I have to compare to is really overwatch which I would say is pretty good OCE wise at most hours sometimes even off peak hours.

                • +1

@AlienC: It's good. I play to all the time. There are plenty of people play it. No problems what so ever to find an online game Ranked or Casual.
Usually easier and faster than to find a game of BFV.

  • Gonna buy this but I want the $8 off 45 :/
Can't decide what else to buy with this!

    • I'm planning on getting Six Siege, Witcher 3 and Metro Redux Bundle

      • +1

The first two metro games are some of my favorites of all time. Witcher 3 is definitely in my top three of all time. I instantly judge anyone who hasn't at least TRIED The Witcher 3. Make sure to buy GOTY! the expansion packs are amazing and IMO Blood And Wine had a much better story than the base game.
Don't get the review bombing on the metro games get to you. They're because of the new game and have nothing to do with the old two games. Even then it's a shame because with the new game's controversy the devs had nothing to do with it yet they're getting half the hate. What didn't help was a dev's comment which was poorly translated from Russian which then led to even more hate towards them.
Unfortunately I've already played most of the games that commonly go on sale so now it's hard to find something to buy :P

  • Currently cheaper on GMG (~AUD$12.65) (so long as you don't mind a Uplay key)

How essential is the Advanced/Year 2/Year 3 content? Is it playable without it?

    • In my opinion, its not essential. Its for those who don't have the time to grind and just want everything unlocked.
I got the Standard Edition and bought the other operators by grinding in-game so yes it's still playable.

    • Nice find that's a good price.

I think I paid $19 AUD from ebgames at one of the Christmas sales when a lot of pc games were going for $19.

This was for the standard edition I think so not starter.
