  • Cheap!

People are going to bag grays refurbs

but im on number 3 and love it,
and yes I have had a faulty product before out of the box

Me too and return was pretty easy.

my laptop had a dead battery,
took it to some repair centre, a few days later, new/refub batt

machine is still going 2.5 yrs later

Wish they would bring back X1 refurbs under $650. Screen kills this one for me, should be 1080p minimum these days.

Good point. I overlooked that. Was seriously considering pulling on this one.

Agree. Some unsuspecting people also get tricked by the "HD". Although technically it is considered HD, that resolution is very pixelated. Good enough though at this price point.

    • Still a bit sad I didn't pull the trigger on the x1 extreme grays had for ~2k after disc @ christmas

Must have been pretty highly specced. But I think if spending that sort of money, would prefer to contact insider sales and try and get a good deal. Even the lower spec X1's are great machines though, and Gray's used to do them with some regularity for ~$650 during these eBay discount promos.

t'was something like 8750/32g/512+1tb/1050ti. I like the fact that they are so small and light, don't care about throttling as much since not a professional videographer or gamer.

Super cheap price but agree that a 14" screen @ 1366×768 wil be a pain.

      • My daughter has the 11”. Even on that screen it looks horrible.

It’s also dark. Not very bright even when cranked up.

  • Any way to use a stylus with these? thinking of grabbing a beater for note taking

  • Seems like the screen is the weak point: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-Yoga-510-14AST-A9-9410-…

  • Can I claim TRS GSTs on these units? Do Grays Online provide a GST receipt?

  • 1366×768 yuck. Cheap. But yuck.

  • Bummer wad going to buy another one at that price, even though i dont need one
