FOXTEL EOFYS Just Might Be Here Again! $24 Per Month on Get Started for 6 Months

20

As per every year FOXTEL have and EOFYS offer. In the mail today i received an offer whereby if you refer a friend to get Foxtel you receive a $100 gift card, and as a reward the new subscriber will get
" Foxtels EOFY offer"(i assume then that this is what foxtels EOFYS offer will end up being).

It looks pretty much the same as last year. it stated that

pay $6 per week for 6 months to get the starter packagae. I like how they put the $6 per week to entice you even more, but on avg it works out to be roughly 4weeks x 6 = $24.00 per month instead of the $44 per month

All in all a pretty good offer if you are looking to get it.

P.S if you feel like putting my name as a reference i would me more than happy to accep the $100 wish card lol.. j/k

Do you really think anyone gets it for any other reason? :-)

I have foxtel and don't care about the sports channels at all lol. For me, it's all about the music and the IQ… and non-stop Simpsons repeats.

        • what music? I tuned to the music channel last night and didnt hear any music..just white noise and maybe some generic muttering about "getting on the floor".i Heard three songs one by Snoop one by Britney and one By J-Lo and Pitbull and im pretty sure they were the same songs, complete with too obvious product placement. Whinge over.

    • i dont need foxtel, but i really want the sports channels…

      are you bipolar ???

      • hahaa sure am…paying 24bucks for the basic subscription then + the sport packs isnt quite working our for me..like i said i only want the sports channel!

please telstra, release the subscription pack for t-box now!

Sports channel normally costs $60 per month…
Under this promotion, you only pay $40 per month for 6 months…

There are approx 26 weeks in 6 mths.
Hence calculates roughly to $26 per month (6*26/6)

Im going to be interested in seeing what deals they will be offering with their whole new dedicated AAFL channel when the start of the next AFL season and might be worth waiting til then (those that care about the footy of course)

doubt they will… best you can hope for is free install…

I wouldn't be surprised if they bring out a whole new package just for AFL dodgy bastards.

No extra charge for the AFL channel it has been said numerous times by both the ceo of premier media group (fox sports) and foxtel

it will be included in the sports tier of channels.

        • No extra charge for AFL cahnnel but you can be sure the sports pack will go up in price. Ive been with Austar few months and my total pack value has gone up 3 dollars a pack already.

Typical crap you can expect from Foxtel.
Giving per week price when you're billed monthly, and advertising a price that only applies for a limited portion of a longer, significantly higher priced contact.

No disrespect meant to OP who tried to clean it up a bit, but still… Foxtel EOFYS = no deal.

OK, what about 3.6 cents per hour?

      • +2

        Okay, I am in.

  • EOFYS is usually half price for 12 months

  • no offense taken, just sharing the love lol

  • I assume for existing customers this applies, and that we can also get the bonus?
i.e. we can cancel, and re-subscribe and get the benefit also.

    • i wonder if it's possible, anyone ever tried asking them to match the offer? will cancelling and reapplying considering you as a new customer?

  • Terms & Conditions: *Min cost on 12 month direct debit plan: $396 on Get Started

This works out as $33 per month for 1 year for Standard definition (very low quality!) TV programs, most of which you won't watch anyway. No deal for me.

  • Has anyone seen any 12 month offers for this year's EOFYS sale. Last year there was both a FF deal for Fitness First members as well as one for Foxtel friends and family….
