Yeah I feel like this is some kind of misunderstanding spiraling out of control. The photo was probably one store clearing stock to change their freezers or something. If you read the actual email from woolies it’s more like “yeah we have some freezer items on sale on Thursday”.

Na, only 50%. Where there is already a save% it will take the better of the two.
They did a similar deal back in August where everything from the freezer section was supposed to be 50% off but a lot of things were still full price (things like the frozen Ocean Chef fish items were still full price).

I think it means you have to order online to get the 1/2 price. If you just walk in and grab it off the shelf, probably no 1/2 price.

I am still unconvinced that this deal is nationwide at this stage due the to the lack of official word or promotional material from Woolworths themselves.
All we really have is a picture of a notice in the Maryborough store and some "articles" from 2 word or mouth websites. Don't really feel like chasing wild geese yet. :)

Bought quite a few boxes of Herbert Adams at $3.75 per box … I quite like their chicken one in particular

I don't know my Freezer products that well, but it looks like at least half the Freezer section will counted as excluded. On the bright side, Connoiseur, Halo Top, Ben/Jerry and other premium stuff will be half price.

I find most freezer items do generally go on half price sales throughout the year and I stock up enough to get me to the next sale. Is there any that never or rarely go on half price sale?
I haven’t emptied the freezer from the last time one of these sales went by… contemplating whether or not to do this again.

I just did a search of "Chen" because of a recommendation above about gyoza and it seems things are starting to populate. All of that stuff seems to be 50% off now.
