Thanks, ordered 360 capsules under various aliases. Will have almost enough to last the year

Have you tried them? Taste is kind of awful. They even smell like burned wood not like coffee.

      • +7

I think they actually taste pretty good. I think Sydney is the best.

      • Agree

Wonder why small Australian family businesses go broke, you.

      • That's not really a valid blame for going out of business…

      • Considering what they probably have to do to get it on the shelves at Coles, they're probably making more margin selling these.

*Limit 1 variety pack per customer. If customers exceed this limit, República Organic will cancel additional orders and provide customers with a full refund for the additional orders.

  • Thank op just put through the order.

  • Thanks op got some.

    What is the bb date?

  • Thsnks, OP.

  • Thanks OP

For $10 it's a worth a shot. I love my coffee strong so it'll be good to see how intense these really are!

  • +1

Got these last time they were up here. Great coffee, couldn't fault anything.

  • +2

Thanks OP. Grabbed these last deal as well and very happy with them and feel a bit better knowing they’re biodegradable too.

Also, can confirm that if you do PayPal guest checkout, you can at least order twice using your same details. Only ordered two lots - didn’t want to be greedy.

    • Not in landfill. You need to keep the plastic in high O2 environment for a year or so. Biodegradable plastic is a farce.

      • interesting. one of the reasons I use these over alternatives is because they are "biodegradable". are they really just as bad as normal ones , or is there a slight advantage?

other option would be use the resuable pods…

  • Would these be compatible with dolce gusto machines?

    • No they're Nespresso machine pods

  • Love these but already ordered before - for home and work a few weeks ago

Can I order again..? Have been buying from Coles as I like the Sydney 14 pods.

    • +1

      Yes you can.
I have ordered the last 3 times this deal has been offered.
I haven't changed email address or delivery address.
$9 for 30 pods delivered is great.

      • Thanks I'm going to order… Big fan of this coffee and feel all ecowarrior, as they're good for the environ too

        • +1

I ordered once last time it was offered. Ordered again this time, order was cancelled and refunded shortly after. Used same PayPal account and post details. Don't have a Republica account.

          • @flagger: yup same here. just had two orders cancelled and refunded

  • Anyone used these with an Aldi coffee maker?

    • You can't use them with Aldi machines. I believe they had compatible pods before but it seems like these are discontinued for some reason. Maybe because Aldi pods are a hundred times better.

      • +3

Maybe because Aldi pods are a hundred times better.

Yeah, thats definitely not the case.

      • Aldi pods are a hundred times better.

I'm personally waiting for an Intensity 14 to come out.

      • Maybe because Aldi pods are a hundred times better

        Price is Aldi's only advantage.

        • Aldi's pod contains 8g ground coffee whereas Nespresso's compatible one normally has 5g-6g.

          • @Neoika: More is not always best.

  • Cheers OP :)

    Cheers OP..

Also used PP Guest checkout 2x & went thru flawlessly.. (as @Slave1 suggested)

    • Last time, my three orders, two got cancelled and refunded

  • Thanks OP, ordered again! Sydney is pretty good. If you like L'or, you'll be happy with this too.

  • Bought these last time it was on offer. Found the extraction time doubled if not tripled with these pods.

  • Ordered, thanks OP

  • Got one. Thanks!

  • I get a "Page Not Found" at https://www.republicaorganic.com.au/collections/coffee-capsu…
    What am I doing wrong?
    Ozbargained?

    • It's not you the link isn't working now.

    • Yeah must be, I'm getting the same error

  • +1

They cancelled my order because I ordered this early last year apparently

  • +1

    Refunded here too

  • +4

Was refunded as I purchased a pack - last year. Did not purchase any in this trial period but they still refused. Nice find by the OP but poor form by the seller.

    • Same thing happened to me! Not happy!

      • Same for me and my partner!

    • I purchased 3, notified this morning all 3 orders cancelled & refunded.. :(

  • got refunded!

  • Just got an email notification that my order for one set was refunded.
Poor form that they took so long to issue a refund of they weren't going to supply the purchase.
I've bought a few packs from Cole's at various times and was looking fwd to a set at a reduced discount.

I don't think I'll be supporting Republica Coffee anymore.
