Paid a tenner for mine at OW a few months back. Very decent airflow from this little usb fan.

    • Was going to say for those that missed out, they are ~$10 at office works pickup

  • I just picked up some from coles for $5 each

    • Are they the same model as this?

      • Look very similar to this and the JB ones

Cant see how this could be high velocity tho over usb

I just switched mine on, it moves plenty of air for a usb fan. I have the 240v version right beside it which is much louder and only marginally better.

          • @Lps: This one moves about the same as the JB, so not sure what the heller is like to the JB ones

They’re not really that powerful. I think 3 sounds about right.

From my observations, I feel like they're all the same, regardless of brand - or am I going crazy?

    • That's only 1.8w, the Heller one I have is 2.5w - although the jet one def looks 'cooler'.

      • You'll need a USB outlet that can supply the higher amps too

  • $6.99 on ebay delivered. My link got deleted. Easy search.

    • Ozbargain deletes the links made through the eBay app as it thinks they are referral links.

Delete everything before and including the =

    • Sold out? Not seeing any

  • They are a good little fan, but they burn out quick, well mine did.

    • Mine going strong after about 6months. My 240v one still kickin at 10 years old.

Quite sad. I was watching a documentary where the loan sharks in Manila slums charge the poor more than a dollar a day to rent a fan, so they pay back the fan cost more than once a month. For some reason, they keep paying it. I'm like, use a hand fan for a few days and you can buy it outright.

Damn, why can't that formula work here

      • Oh it does, all those rent to buy places.

  • Bought same fan branded as Mistral from local bunnings fro 5 bucks.
