LG 75" UK65 4K Ultra HD LED LCD AI ThinQ Smart TV $1888 @ Harvey Norman

60

I'm looking around for a 75" 4K TV and the LG is mentioned a lot as a semi budget option.

Previous deals have it down to $1900 delivered (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/443146), but for $1888 you can pickup from Harvey Norman shopfront if it's in stock.

I'm also more than happy to discuss 75" TV options from $1500 - $2000 (Hisense, Samsung, Sony and LG i guess) in this thread.

    Slightly cheaper here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-LG-75UK6500PTB-75-189cm-UHD-…

Please use the forums to discuss specs !

As its always the same: How does the Hisense P7 compare vs Sony 75x7000 et..

  • It seems like the 3 main contenders for 75" 4K TV's for <$2K are:

    1 - LG 75UK6500PTB
    2 - Samsung MU7100
    3 - Hisense 75P7

Which do you think is better overall TV?

    Cheers

From memory LG slightly worse but you would need to double check as it was a while ago

Hope you haven't bought it yet. Shame, from memory if you got in early (few days ago), Bing Lee had it for $1,600 but i think they pulled out or sold it already.

    $1,850.00

    $1,740.00

My personal opinion, would be to wait a bit. It went down to $1,600 about a week or two ago.

    • Thanks for the options, I'm in FNQ so Bing Lee and Appliance Online don't deliver to me. I can wait for a Good Guys special combined with Ebay, or a random special like this. I haven't bought it yet, just researching and still trying to justify it to myself haha

      • 75" for the mud hut, eh?

  • Not a bad price. I picked up a 75” Samsung NU7100 for $1580 in the recent eBay deal. One thing to consider if you’re looking at TVs in this range and you own Apple devices, is that Samsung will be adding AirPlay 2 support in a firmware update soon. None of the other manufacturers are adding it retroactively to their 2018 models, only the new 2019 ones.

  • Damn, these 75 inchers are getting dirt cheap.

The Ozbargain wisdom seems to be of the 3 75 inch contenders, the Hisense p7 just pips the Samsung and LG is weakest but if you care about pic quality go Samsung 65 8000… The sacrifice is worth it.
March is usually the month retailers clear out previous year stock. After that it's pot luck what remains in stock.
