Coles Express Coffee Price Rise

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has known how long it's been since the price of coffees have gone up?

My memory thinks that just last week or the week before the prices were:
Small - 80c
Medium - $1.50
Large - $2

But I went just now and saw:
Small - $1
Medium - $2
Large - $2.50

How long has it been like this? I miss my 80 cent coffees lol.
25% price increase!

    Ummm ok. A true Ozbargainer would know it was a 25% price hike, not a 20%.

      Haha true, wow I'm having a slow day today…

      As Jimbo said, it used to cost 20% less. That was my calculation but my brain decided to neither English nor Math to get out the right thing xD

          Clearly I need coffees back to 80c. That's 1 extra coffee I can get for $4!

    80c - $1 is 25% increase.
    $1.50 - $2 is about 33.4% increase.
    and $2 to $2.5 is 25% increase.

    If you're gonna whinge about the percent increase, at least whinge to the full extent :) that's a true OzBargainer!

    Anyone going to comment on the OP's actual question instead of correcting their maths?

    Haven't had Coles Express coffee for a year, but $1 brings it in line to most other "servo coffee" offerings like 7-11

      If Coles Express and 7-11 were both near me, 7-11 coffee is much better. Alas, the nearest Coles Express is 350m and the nearest 7-11 is like 2kms.

      It is what it is. The price has been changing in the last weeks across the stores.

    New rise for small coffee to $1.50, pretty sure effective on the 1 Dec or a few days earlier. Not sure about the other two sizes.
