Cheap Options for PS4 Microphone

Hey everyone!

Just frustratingly found out none of my Apple headphone/mic sets will work with the PS4 anymore (due to Apple having a weird standard and Sony blocking them via software).

I also tried using a cheapie mic only that works fine with my PC, but also no go.

What's a good option here? I've looked at the PS4 genuine headset and it looks great, although pretty $$$ considering my little use. If it also worked with my Sony TV I could probably justify it (watching late night TV without disturbing others).

Or do I just buy a cheapie $15 set from Big W or similar?

      It's $1 for a headphone jack - the mic itself is sold out, and probably costs a lot more!

        But in all fairness, the quality of the headset would be terrible.

        Didn’t your console come with an earpiece/mic?

        There should be a single ear mic when you bought the console.
