Up to 55% off Electric Toothbrushes e.g. Oral B Genius 9000 Dual Handle $349 @ Shaver Shop

82

Update: As per @RogueWolf's comment below, it would be cheaper to buy from their ebay store with the latest 10% off code (eg PSYCHED).

There is a sale on at the Shaver Shop. I was alerted to this by BugsBunnyAUS's post but I was interested in Oral-B.

The largest saving is probably the Oral B Genius 9000 Dual Handle at $349.00 (RRP $559.00) but I was more interested in the Oral-B Smart (e.g. Smart 7 for $129.95) & PRO series (e.g. PRO 700 for $49.95).

For those that are interested, there are also sales on:
* Up to 60% Off Beauty
* Up to 55% Off Shavers & Groomers
* Up to 50% Off Hair Care
* Up to 70% Off Long Term Hair Removal

    $157.05 single

    all oral care

    • I just checked - "PEEL20" comes up as expired.

That works! I paid too much…where do I return my Ozb membership card?

@Dinjay: shame on you, go to the corner & think about what you have done

    • I updated the post to suggest the ebay store.

  • Thanks got a black one through the eBay store, been thinking of one for a while.

  • Note the 9000 dual pack does not come with a charging carry case its just a carry case, only the single has the charging carry case.. but they do sell them.

  • Doesn't the 5000 contain the same motor? I thought brush 5000 upwards are the same?

    • +1

yes that's my memory, - same motor, just more supposed functions - different power modes.
I think the upper model also gets an upgraded charger, i.e. faster charging.
as it is they take about 10 hours…

      • Ive seen the 5000s for $80 on sale, so it's nearly double the price for the top model.

    • I think the 9000 post the other day had comments along the lines of it having a similar motor but higher rpm. Don't quote me on it but they're essentially the same as I'm sure you wouldn't notice in actual use. Either way, knowledge is power and it did help me make a decision at the time.

My research pointed me towards the 2000/2500 model originally. If you locate the link for that listing on Amazon, that particular brush had a table embedded in the description that outlined all the key features (but no mention of actual internal spec).

      Cheers. 🍻

How long until the $1000 electric toothbrush is here?

  • What's the diff $80 vs $300 electric toothbrush? I know they have faster rpm, but any real diff after a point?

The shaved shop runs these “up to XX% off” sales almost continuously just like Kathmandu et al. I wouldn’t call this a bargain when you can buy 2 single handle ones for about the same price on amazon.

    • I tend to agree. More often than not, even their "discounted" prices are inflated. I'm not one to neg but given I was in the market for the 9000, I feel my comment and vote is valid.

The recently posted deal was better value if you're considering the 9000 model as described in OP. $159ea plus 10-12% shopback and is a fairly regular price for this model. It's a borderline good price anyway but value for money would be 2 single kits at the average listed price as you get 2 bases. As mentioned above anyway, the neg is more targeted towards Shaver Shop.

    • I was interested in the Smart 7 which I couldn't find elsewhere for this price.
But I agree - using Genius 9000 in the title was unfortunate - I added it to the text as an example and it was added to the title by an Ozb admin. I know to be more careful/explicit the next time.

I totally agree. As with my neg, I can't split it up against the other items as is the same with your title! All good. More of a PSA for the 9000 as I was in the market for one the same (I bought the Amazon deal).

I can't comment on the other models as I didn't look into them but if I did have to go out on a limb, I'd still stand by the shaver shop comment. They're probably only close to par at best when they're deals are on. Unless they have some form of extra promo running, I've very rarely seen them come out on top and yes I do look and shop there if needed, not just shaver shop bashing.
