The only thing that has changed in this product is a wireless charging case, how could you possibly justify spending an additional $40 for the 2nd generation?

      There's other differences. https://www.macrumors.com/guide/new-airpods-vs-old-airpods/

worth the premium? I'm not sure, but thought I'd correct the misinformation.

      Better chip. Wireless charging.

That's easily worth $40 to someone who is looking at new headphones and has wireless charging pads/phone etc.

I can't even justify the first generation lol, I would never put these in my ears

  • Great find, thank you!

How is $271.99 a special price? They're $249 at JB

    Did I miss something?

    • This has a wireless charging case. The One you linked does not.

      • beat me to it haha

    • Yes, this one includes the wireless charging case. That one has a normal case with the 2nd gen airpods. The equivalent one at JB is [this]

      • Oh awesome. Didn't know there was a difference. got the wireless ones for the price of the normal case then, was wondering what the girl was saying that there was no stock of something lol. makes sense now.

        • So you got the Wireless charget Earpods 2nd gen from JB for $249, that's unbelievable, can you share the receipt ?

  • Back in stock.

      Thanks got one!

  • Where do these rank in regards to sound quality?

    • Not the best in sound quality.probably around the $50 wired headphones range for sound.

  • Just curious, what's a good, cheap alternative you would recommend to an OzBargainer like me? (I have an iPhone 7, btw)
