  • Price and store in title please

    • Oops. Fixed it. Thanks.

  • Would this be eligible for 9% cashback in Cash Rewards? If so, the effective price is $1183.

Edit: looks like it should be, because it's not a refurb from the Dell Outlet, and FRENZY50 is listed in CR.

    • +1

10% Shopback, (plus 9% TRS for oversea travel)

  • Page error. At least here. Accessing via Chrome Android

    • Seems ok on my phone. S7edge, chrome

  • +1

It looks like the model is 7580, so the title needs updating from 7570.

  • Is thee anyway to take advantage of the 50% and upgrade the screen to touch? Anyone know from experience ?

    • The Click Frenzy banner ad at the top of the page says: "Question? Call 800-812-392 or Click to Chat". I'd be interested to hear the results of asking them.

    • +2

Tried that with chat, he is saying its prebuilt so can't customize the screen

      • Damn I want touch also

  • Wow good find op.
Only thing that kills it for me is battery 3-Cell Battery, 42 Whr (Integrated)

    • what is a laptop with a good battery?
and how long it last compared to this one?

  • any good deal with 2 in 1 … flip?

  • is this a good laptop for general purpose + gaming and how it compare to the other brands like lenova, acer, asus etc?

    • Apparently the MX250 is an entry-level graphics card so probably avoid if you're wanting something good for gaming. Most of the benchmarks I've seen show you need to reduce the quality to low and resolution to 720p if you want it to run properly, and even then some games aren't too great on performance: https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-MX250-Graphics-…

Shame because I'm looking for a new laptop myself and everything else about this laptop seems like a great deal.

      • How about if you are using it for photo/video editing? Can we upgrade the RAM on this one later?

        • This Dell laptop already comes with 16GB of RAM, so it's a great choice for photo and video editing. It's also an i7 and IPS display. SSD drive so it will be very fast. Good laptop if you don't care about lack of touch-screen.

      • thanks for the info

yeah at $1300 it is quite a lot more expensive than other laptops brands that were posted before
and at this price you would expect it would be good for gaming..

Didn't know they scrimp on the GPU
cos the other specs seems good.

      • Dumb question: but this is still better than Intel® UHD Graphics 620 with shared graphics memory right?

        • +1

Definitely. Anything with a dedicated graphics chip is better than an integrated one such as the Intel UHD Graphics range.

    • +2

If you want to game on PC, game on PC. Laptops just aren't worth it. This is overkill for general purpose, but that also means it's good for 5 years.

      • well it is good to have an option to game when you are out and about
or when you don't want to be deskbound to the pc.

Not one is asking for the same pc level performance on a laptop but..
To pay $1300 and get an entry level gpu is pretty crap value considering what has been on offer in laptop deals from other brands.

        • +1

Lol expecting a decent GPU in a sub $1500 laptop is wishful

      • Sorry dumb question, if it's too basic for gaming and an overkill for general purpose, what do you suppose it's perfect for? Office use may be?

  • Is the MX250 still based on pascal tech?

  • where to use HONEY15

  • Bit weird they put it at full price to then lower it with "50% off"

while the other listing is still up at the almost same price without coupon code https://www.dell.com/en-au/work/shop/laptops/15-7580/spd/ins…

    • that's got win pro i think

      • This one comes with 16GB RAM, but with Windows 10 Home, and a bit cheaper.

      • Ah so the RAM 8GB vs 16GB

  • +1

Would be nice if they put some XPS 15's on the Click Frenzy sale

    • There is 15% off XPS 15 at the moment. Do you mean further discount on top of current 15% off XPS 15?

OK, try stack these 15% off coupon code

      0T042XG$DZTK6R

      or

      HONEY15

      • Yeah I was hoping to get the 40% or 50% off their i7 16GB Ram version.

  • Damn, I wanted a Huawei Matebook 14 but this seems attractive! Any thoughts on the pros and cons apart from the obvious uncertainty surrounding Huawei

  • Sorry dumb question, if it's too basic for gaming and an overkill for general purpose, what do you suppose it's perfect for? Office use may be?

    • This one

  • +2

FYI any warranty upgrades become 50% off too. Possibly software/accessories too. Cool.

  • I'd buy it at this price if it wasn't for the rubbish screen that covers only 53% sRGB gamut.
