wonder if they're good for sports shooting.

It says unbreakable. I assume this includes bulletproof.

no AS/NZS 1067.1:2016 or AS/NZS 1337 so id be very wary.

        • do you know if all sunnies sold at retail outlets like cotton-on ,etc.

are compulsory made/compliant to AS sunnies eye protection ?

          • +2

@dcep: Yes. If they're labelled as sunglasses. Illegal otherwise.

            https://www.arpansa.gov.au/understanding-radiation/radiation…

"All sunglasses sold in Australia must be tested and labelled according to the Australian/New Zealand Standard for Sunglasses and Fashion Spectacles. A mandatory safety standard sets limits on the allowed transmittances of fashion spectacles and sunglasses. Sunglasses meeting the standard are available in adults and children’s sizes. Wearing sunglasses that meet the standard’s requirements for effective sunglasses ensures your eyes have adequate protection against UVR damage."

          Illegal to sell in Oz.

    • You only get 1 pair of eyes, mate - best use some good quality shooting glasses. I recommend Smith Optics Aegis(what I use) or any of the Revision Military Balistic glasses - both meet military standards for eye protection and can literally stop a direct hit from a .22 low velocity round so should be able to handle any richochet and nearly all unforseen incidents.

  • Perfect to use with my new electric skateboard :)

  • I am new to bicycle and prescription too , bought one .

    Speed dealers…

  • I wondered what the Oakley factories were doing these days
