      Quick first impressions.

I got the G version since I'm a an Android user (Galaxy S9 at the moment). First impressions are that they are really comfortable but not that loud. I mostly wear ear buds and music at full volume tends to hurt my ears. With these I can turn them up fully and still listen quite comfortably. I don't use over/on ear headphones often, so maybe that's normal. I'm not an audiophile so I can't comment too much on sound quality, but they seem pretty good. Once I mucked with my equaliser a bit they produced good bass. As you would expect, they seem well made, sturdy and decent quality. I'm not sure what the point of the detachable cable is? Is it just so it can be replaced easily if it gets damaged? Even though they are marketed as "over-ear" headphones they certianly don't fit over my ears and are definitely more "on-ear" in my opinion. But those terms seem to be pretty interchangeable in the headphone world. Maybe I just have big ears? I'm a pretty big dude, I guess. I was a little annoyed that the JB Hifi store I went to had pretty much every other brand/model of headphones on display, but no Sennheisers. I had assumed they would fit over my ears and I would have been able to confirm that wasn't the case if there had been display ones.

Overall they seem like quite tidy headphones for $79. I feel like I'd be a bit disappointed if I had paid full price for them, though. I suspect they'll grow on me as I use them more. Like I said, I've only really used ear buds long term up until now, so maybe my expectations were a bit skewed. Someone with more experience with on/over ear headphones might be able to make a better comparison. I'm interested to see how they go with PubGM later.

Let me know if there are any questions.
