  • But are they as high quality as xbox?

It's a very high quality product, exclusively only to Sony PlayStation 4.

      • Yeah just joking around… Its always interesting to hear what people think. I like both but prefer the off set analogue sticks of Xbox

I think the Xbone ones are a bit better made, and the battery life on the DS4 is terrible (vs using eneloops etc)

Kind of wish the DS4 controller had the battery life of a DS3. They lasted for a loooooong time.

        • +1

The touchpad on the DS4 is always on and drains power so that's why it's battery life will never be as good as the DS3.

@ju2au: Remember to turn the backlight of the light bar down to save battery

Quality is simular both a solid controller, this one has more advanced technology such as

      • Bluetooth instead of Wired
      • rechargeable lithium ion instead of 2x AA
      • touchpad
      • So when the battery dies the whole controller is useless.

        • Not too hard to open and swap out.

Xbone controllers are now bluetooth, early ones were proprietary wireless

Just bought it for the PC and it's a simple plug n play. Set it in Steam and away I go. Loving it so much better than the Xbox controller. Feels much better in the hands.

Now just have to get used to using it (precise aiming) when playing with FPS games. Been a hardcore keyboard-mouse user for a very long time. Any tips guys?
