PlayStation Plus 1 Year Rp 245,000 (~ $25 AUD) @ PlayStation Indonesia

180

Hello there. Don't know if this is something we can post, but as I've seen and used the Indian YouTube Premium and Argentinean Netflix tricks I thought I'd post this.

The idea is to create an Indonesian PS account and get this, then make your PS4 the primary for this account. Then your Australian PlayStation account can use it to play online.

Hope this helps someone. If not appropriate, happy for mods to remove. Cheers

can you try and let us know?

    • I currently have AU PS Plus otherwise I would get this now. I saw it on Reddit and yes I believe it works.

saw and really experiencing it are two completely different situation bro..try it and let us know again.

        • True. But if someone else can get cheaper PS Plus then it's worth posting it. Even if I can't use it at the moment due to a current sub.

    • +1

this method works. I have been using it for 3 years with Canada PS Plus.

      Cool story. Needs more dragons.

      • -1

there're no dragons in Jakarta; you need to go to Komodo National Park if you have fascination towards dragons.

        • +1

Jakarta is the worst country, I think Bali is a better option rather than going to any cities in Indonesia.

I once transited in Bali, I have to say it's a beautiful country

          • -1

@Taro Milk Tea: seriously? you think Bali is good?

          • +4

            @Taro Milk Tea:

            Jakarta is the worst country,

Since when is Jakarta a country?

            • -4

@jv: and Bali is a country … i saw it in one of those currency exchange joint. with that, I believe Jakarta is a country.

            • @jv: Jakarta feels like a country on its own, you must have never been there..

I'd recommend staying at Alexis Hotel, I heard it's very recommended by the locals

    • -2

I don't understand why you got negged bro, I hate to say this, but I agree with you!

      • Probably for being completely off topic?

This isn't a deal for a Jakarta vacation

        • -2

if I posted that in a Jakarta vacation deal, it will be the same outcome anyway. seems like lots of folks who are fascinated about Jakarta. The moment I hit low then all the negs.

    • … It's like it's trying to… communicate with us. Extraordinary

      • what? TheKambing ?

    • @tempura and @ Taro milk tea Jakarta and bali are cities of Indonesia. *facepalm

      • bud this is not twitter/instagram….

  • +1

    yes it works

    Hail to the wkwk squad

    • That's a bit too short, I've never seen them using it shorter than wkwkwk

  • So you save around 50% off Oz prices if bought at best prices of around $50 for me .

Is the messing around setting it up worth it?

      • +3

I'm pretty sure Playstation Asia operates Playstation Jakarta as well as Singapore, Malaysia and other asian countries. The prices are just adjusted with costs of living and exchange rates in mind.

      • Have you been to Jakarta though?

        • what do you think ?

          • @tempura: I think you need to visit Jakarta

            • @oranglama: what so good about it? last i went, i was hospitalised because of that filthy nasi goreng kambing. change my mind…

        • I have been to Alexis hotel recommended by local

      • +1

        Lol I didn’t neg u , I’ll try to save yah 👍

      • we couldn't handle the truth!

    • yes, get it at this price and stack for a couple of years. Soon they will be increasing the prices to reflect international prices like Canada/US/AU/Europe.

  • +2

Of course, it works. I have american and aus ps account.

  • +2

It definitely works, I signed up for a couple of years worth previously. They usually have different PS+ games to the Aus/US/Europe. Some of their sales aren't as good though but you can still pickup some decent games.

Only drawback about buying games from Indonesia PS store is the button mapping, the X and O are usually the other way around. And for some of the games I've bought, to change it you need to create a new PS controller profile and then change it back when you play something else. Not the end of the world but annoying. :)

    • +1

Thank you very much for the informative comment.

      • +2

No idea why someone negged you

    • button mapping, the X and O are usually the other way around

does this matter even when you set the indonesian profile as primary and play it in an Australian Account?

I own lots of games in Canada PS, I think they have same button mapping as AUS.

      • +1

I bought Horizon Zero Dawn from the Indonesian store, and even when I switch to my AU account to play, the button mapping defaults to the Indonesian settings.

        • -5

do you see nasi goreng kambing in your XMB?

      • +1

Hey do you know if the games in AU PSPlus will transfer over to Indonesia's PS Plus??

        • it wont transfer over, you will have a new empty library.

          • @yummycoot: Noooooooooooooo D:

Guess I'll just continue paying 70 per year OTL

            Thanks for the answer :')!

            • @drumrollplease: the games on the AU account will remain, its just you wont be able to play those unless you renew. What games do you really play from those?

      • +1

it's built into the game, I made a japanese ps4 account just so I could play the demo of Nioh Automata, the buttons were back to front in that, I only played it with my Australian account

    • Sooo- will all the games I've already got with my PS plus in AU be gone? D: noooo

  • Do you need to get some local gift cards for this trick to work?

    • +2

Get your indo cards from offgamers. Works and is easy to set up.
You can still use your normal PlayStation log in for playing online etc.

      • Thanks bud :-)

    • Out of stock, any other ways?

  • Do you play online against indonesians or australians?

And is the store selling different versions of the games (incompatibility with DLC)?

    • You will use your current AU account to play online so it will as usual. You basically share PS plus to your profile when you add this Indonesian account to your users.

      • If you don't have AU Plus, do you still get to play MP with AU players?

        • your region of ps plus subscription does not matter. Your IP Address does.

      • Do you know if we get to keep the ps plus games from au when changing to getting Indonesia's PS+?

  • Question from my son: He has previously switched primary before to get free games. yes, I know, Ozbargainer in training.

Can he use the switch option without too many issues? He believes it's not allowed to switch too many times.

    • +1

From looking it up I can't find any definite answer but anecdotally you can switch it as many times as you want but you can only have one primary activated and one secondary at one time. Hope that's makes sense

      • Thank you. Will pass it on. :0)

    • +1

you can only switch the primary console once every 3 months or something. (don't quote me on that)

But you can have multiple primary accounts in the same console.

all you need to do to get the multiplayer and games is add the indonesian ps account to your console and have that account's primary console set to that one.

      • Thank you. Will pass it on. :0)

  • ok, will try , thanks bud..

  • +3
  • How do I pay… when adding cc details it is hard coded with Indonesia as the country? Did everyone use a gift card code? or did you put AU address when setting up indo ps account?
