  • Code wasn't working for me. Called ebay and they were great. I set up my ebay account in the UK and so it wasn't picking up the code. Ebay dude fixed it code all good got my laptop!
Tried calling good guys artarmon to price match they said no. Prob more chance in store but could spend a lot of time and end up disappointed

  • I was after a dishwasher and went to my local Goodguys to check the models out and we wanted installation. The salesman was super helpful and even beat the 20% eBay offer.

  • Hey guys, I desperately need a new laptop with NO LAG for typing. There are two in this promo that should be ok but need feedback please.

    Acer NX.GQ4SA.006 Aspire 3
    Or
    Lenovo 81N3002EAU IdeaPad S145

I’m referring to the JBhifi and Acer page also for same product numbers…

I think both have the AMD A9-9425 and similar resolution. Actually possibly the Acer has the AMD A9-9420e - is one better?

The Lenovo has 128ssd, Acer has 1T hhd - I genuinely don’t need much storage because cloud, and would prefer SSD.
Lenovo quad core but Acer has two?

Clock speed on Lenovo better (3.1 compared to 1.8 in Acer).

But Lenovo has Win 10 S which I found a bit annoying. I need MS Office to work on it, so can 10 S run Office? Or can I revert to 10 Home?

  • Yay! Bought a dryer exactly 1 year ago while 20% off from Ebay TGG. This year its a bit cheaper. Price protection claim woho!

  • Just after some advice from the community…

Bought a Google Home Hub with the 20% off On Sat. Today I receive a call from the only store near me saying "Sorry we can't ship to a parcel locker, so we'll have to refund you" (my default eBay shipping address is a parcel locker).

I ask the lady "ok can I change the address then?". She replies "no sorry we can't change the invoice". I then ask "ok can I click & collect then ?" and she replied again that they can't change the invoice. Considering that their postage is "Standard Postage (Standard delivery)" which I assume would be AusPost, I would have thought that delivery to a post office would be fine.

Is this normal ? So the the only option is to refund the customer if you can't deliver to a customer's address and not try to help them resolve the situation (and make a sale) ??

    :(

    • Doesn't surprise me. I had to deal with unfriendly, unhelpful and dumb staff using complete incompetent IT systems as well.
Bought a few items on eBay but the store people demanded a PayPal payment ID because they had to enter the ID in the computer. Minor detail, I didn't pay with PayPal. I showed them the credit card payment and my driver's licence, eBay email and TTG email. They still refused to provide the items. Staff was like a broken record "We need a PayPal ID to enter". Went home, cancelled my order and back to Amazon now.

  • +1

My microwave picked a decent time to die

    • Funny how as soon as the promo ends, the price dropped by $10 (before discount, so it was still cheaper for me a couple of days ago, but still…)

  • The HP sprocket gift pack for $165 delivered is a good deal:
