Worst kettle ever, avoid! It leaks!

    • Mine has never leaked once.

… and you exercised your Consumer Guarantee rights under ACL to get it replaced free-of-charge?

      • Thankfully Amazon accepted the return. Although it almost ruined my toaster by leaking all over the bench top.

        • You didn't notice any leaking when you cleaned it beforehand?

          • @Kozhutki: No, in my experience it leaks slowly over time..so you'll use it a few times, works fine..then one day you come back and it's leaked all over the bench.

Also try tipping it backwards toward the switch, downwards.. my one leaked out of the switch area.

    • Already got one, so i think i'll go for a Toster.

      • No toAster or Toster…
        I fiddled with the Hi-rise lift mechanism - now I've got a (Toast) Tosser😀

        I've already got a Toaster too…

A gleaming classic chrome Sunbeam Toastermatic with Radiant Control. bought by parents 20/10/1967 for $22. Found the receipt this morning.

        Never bought a toaster since!
No rampant consumerism in search of the latest tech in my family - just buy quality & regular maintaince (by me)!

  • Those colours aren't doing much for me
