Received the two 1 ordered last week. Both of them have major issues with connecting to my main billion wifi router, apparently a very common problem. Tried blade wifi fix and wifi keep alive and other wifi lockers, none work. I had a spare netgear wgr614 which I've made into a secondary access point, so far no problems with that one.

dont know if this is the issue -you must do it from a PC not direct from the mytab

My transfer across to the MyTab didn't seem to work at first. We left it, as it was late, & looked again in the morning, & it came through fine. Patience- you need to follow all the instructions carefully.

Have you tried Strathfield and Telechoice (as linked above), I assume not many people knew about them offering the same deal so my guess is they would still have stock.
If you have no luck at Strathfield or Telechoice, try calling Harvey Norman and ask if they're willing to do a rain check. They're still doing it here in WA. Apparently, I was also informed that they are expecting a large amount of shipment to arrive here in WA next week, but I guess it doesn't help your cause since you're in Melbourne.

dont bother with strathfield, well at least concord store. i called them up asking if they had the Optus MyTab in stock and they said they only have ones for outright, for $279, i then told them that its on their site for $99 and he said thats price of the pre paid one. WTF!?!?! i then asked him one more time if he had stock or not, he said no for both.
When optus release the MyTab 2 everyone is going to be upset that they bought this one (I hope so because I missed out).

I use go to "Continue to Checkout" instant of "return customer" and fill out the information then paid by a master card.

Just received an SMS saying the unit will be shipped out tomorrow!
I had to call on 1300 300 562 as i made a mistake with my address.
When I spoke to an agent at internet order processing dept, he said he could see my order but couldnt see what was ordered.
He got it fixed as said they are really short on stock and might take 2-4 days to ship.
To all the guys who missed out, give it a try. Nothing to loose.
BTW, my order still does not appear under tracking.
